Good friend brought us out of towners to Escondite for dinner on Friday night. Busy restaurant, so I'd make a reservation. Nice place with great food & they definitely don't skimp out on portions! We did 3 apps & 9 tacos (Baja, Camarones Shrimp & E'Steak Koreano). Absolutely stuffed! Great cocktails as well. Cool vibe with the art wall & decorations throughout!

Dinner for 2, the experience x2, with 2 cocktails & 1 jarritos soda. With taxes & tip $175... looking back & doing the calculation we were charged for the churros when we were told it was included in the experience.
5 of 6 tapas were great... the porc tacos the porc seemed mushy & not a desired texture, similar to the cod tacos the final course before dessert.
Churros were thick & short therefore creating undercooked batter in the middle. Dipping sauce was thick Nutella consistency so almost undippable. Thinner & longer churros would guarantee the inside is cooked properly. A more liquidity dippable sauce would be desirable.
Friendly service & nice atmosphere but at these prices it will be difficult to want to return regardless how tasty & nice the experience is.
Nous avons célébré un anniversaire en groupe dans ce restaurant & avons été ravis du début à la fin. Le service était impeccable, la nourriture authentique & délicieuse, & les cocktails étaient remarquablement élaborés. Notre serveur nous a recommandé un menu dégustation "choix du chef", & nous n'avons pas été déçus. Mon conjoint, qui a un très grand appétit, était comblé, & à deux, nous étions bien rassasiés. Cela vaut vraiment la peine, le prix est tout à fait juste pour la qualité & la quantité offertes. En plus de cela, l'ambiance & la musique étaient au top. Si vous cherchez un excellent restaurant mexicain avec une touche de fusion, une belle décoration & une atmosphère chaleureuse, je vous le recommande vivement. Le service est irréprochable, du moment où vous entrez jusqu'à celui où vous sortez.
During the summer, wellington is walkable so there is a nice & quite terrasse to sit & enjoy the nice weather & be able to talk & share with friends, inside, the decoration is interesting & gives the sensation of cozyness. Food is very tasty with the blends of flavors that they do like the nopal & sirloin steak tacos, they have a variety of drinks/cocktails & the price matches the quality & amount of food. Recommended spot.

José is the best! Cocktails & food are amazing. All the tacos are great but the codfish one is amazing!! Get the churros con chocolat & the creamy rose Patron Tequilla for dessert: a classy & perfect combination!
Endroit parfait pour des soupers de groupe. Le service rapide & amical. Excellents cocktails, surtout le margarita à l'orange sanguine. Tout le monde a aimé leur plat. Les tacos baja sont très bons & j'ai adoré les gyoza nachos. On va y retourner avec plaisir.

Good tacos, nice cocktails, great service. They even made me a special batch of super hot sauce! The chef was not satisfied so they made me a second batch of hot sauce without me even asking! I respect that.
Super belle expérience! Nous avons pris le menu découverte & tout était à la hauteur. Cette formule "tapas" fonctionnait très bien pour essayer une bonne partie de la gamme des cuisiniers. Les cocktails étaient délicieux & notre serveur Jose, fût plus qu'attentioné & efficace. Je recommande chaudement!
