Overall, Escondite is described as a bold, fresh Mexican spot with vibrant flavors, standout guacamole and chips, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere that many guests remember after leaving; the menu is praised for variety and quality, with favorites like birria Koreano and a range of tacos, and the Escondite experience is commonly recommended for first visits to sample several tapas alongside strong cocktails. Service is a mixed bag, with some visits featuring attentive staff and quick, smooth service while others report slow pacing and orders being mixed up or missed, which dampen the meal; noise levels can be high and some guests feel portions are small for the price, yet the food is repeatedly described as delicious and inventive, and the overall vibe and consistency encourage return visits.
The food was great. Our server Zoe was great, was our first time so she suggested the Escondite experience, you get to try a little of different tapas. The only thing I found was a little expensive for what we got. But all in all a great experience. We will go again just maybe not as often

Very good food! The only bad think I have to say is that we were right against the flower wall in the back & we could hear all the employees talking & laughing in the back
The service was decent-the waiter did his best to explain the tasting menu, but something felt off when he mentioned needing to check with the budget. Unfortunately, the chicken wings & boneless wings were awful-tasting like they had been reheated, with a soggy texture & thick skin. The other dishes lacked flavor & were overly greasy. Even the churros were oily, seemingly fried in the same oil as the chicken. On the plus side, the vibe was nice, & the place was clean, but the bathroom was way too dark.
Tout était délicieux & frais, formule tapas à partager, de très bon cocktails un service attentionné. De loin meilleur que plusieurs restaurants avec de longs délais d'attente.

Our waitress was Kelly & she was 10/10 she was amazing, so were the rest of the staff but we were really not impressed with the food this time around, we had a bit of everything & drinks & the cauliflower was undercooked the tortillas were breaking apart, the mango salad that I love was not fresh but the service was impeccable along with the atmosphere so thumbs up to the staff & thumbs down for the food
Excellent service à la clientèle, billetterie bien accessible, petit resto & comptoir collation sur place prix un peu dispendieux mais très pratique pour les trajets longue durée. 👍

As mentioned before, portions are on the small side, but it is more of a tapas-type restaurant. The flavours were amazing, my mojito was tasty & they did not skimp on the alcohol like many places nd the staff were wonderful. Will definitely be back!
First time at this little spot in the west island, I went with a friend & our server, Olivia, was incredibly attentive & gave us a premium service. She consistently checked in with us & made very tasteful drinks exactly to our liking. We conversated with her throughout our supper & really enjoyed her company & willingness to ensure our experience was top notch. The appetizers were very good, we had the corn bread, ceviche, wings & mango salad. The only thing I'd make note of is the doll canvas. We sat across from it & it made eye contact with us throughout the night. Other than that, the food was great, drinks were amazing & Olivia made our night. I would definitely return & hope she is my server again.
From the entrance, to the experience, to the food, to the cleanliness of the restaurant. Everything was excellent because of one person, our waitress OLIVIA. We put our experience in her hands & let her chose the food & drink for us, we had a blast enjoying delicious mango salad with beautiful koreano & nopal tacos, to finish off with the upmost best nutella churros, not to mention somme of the BEST drinks we have had in the west island made by yours truly, OLIVIA our waitress, she was so nice & was always checking up on us. We will be back simply for her awesome smile & energy. God bless olivia
