Several dishes were ordered to share among our group as recommended by our server. All dishes were delicious 😋 The service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive & knowledgeable about the different dishes.
Amazing tacos & very friendly service by Anna the bartender as well as the waitstaff Olivia & Sophia. Tried the camarones & Mr. Mole Tacos recommended by Anna the first time I visited, which were both equally great. Definitely recommend & on my list to visit again when in the area!

Beautiful interior, excellent margaritas (aperol marg was particularly fantastic), & the food was so fresh, high quality, & delicious. Relaxed service but everyone was nice & helpful. Highly recommend the steak tacos!!
Good meal with my two young kids. The staff were friendly & the food excellent. Many different flavours & textures, which I love. This includes some creative interpretation of nachos & tacos which made it fun. Adult portions are on the smaller side, so if you're hungry, probably order two sets of two tacos (you can't mix & match). My only (very minor) complaint is that the dishes came very quickly, before we could even put a dent in the appetizers. Probably worth asking them to hold the mains until you're done if that's how you like to eat. Definitely recommend!
Truly the most authentic Mexican food with a twist on the West Island! The tacos Birria are the best we've ever had, & the mushroom quesadilla is phenomenal! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Escondite to anyone!!!
The food was tasty but nothing to call home about. Portions are good but the tacos had just a bit of garnish ( 4-5 onion little cubes & a couple of pieces of coriander).
We were charged for the salsa!!! No other mexican restaurant has ever charged for!!
The Margaritas ate great!
There was no coffee & even though it was not full the service was slow.

We didn't know anything about this restaurant going in & decided to choose the'escondite experience'. This really allowed us to have a great time without worrying about how to properly order. I strongly recommend this option for a first visit.
Everything we received was very flavorful & always an interesting take on a classic or a perfectly executed classic.
I went for my daughter's 17th birthday. I have been here before & loved it. I highly recommend a reservation in advance. The food is delicious in "tapas" sized portions. We got to eat a little of everything which was nice. Drinks were good, atmosphere is fun & overall great experience. We were served by Olivia. She was attentive, caring & sweet. I don't know if someone called in sick, or they were not expecting as many people during the holidays because Olivia seemed to be one person covering the entire restaurant (usually more servers) She did so well, nobody really noticed & her service did not suffer for it. Great job.
Our server Juan was amazing! I had the mushroom tacos & the tuna tostada & they were excellent. 10/10 experience, I highly recommend & will definitely be coming again.

Our table had the tasting menu & various drinks. Everything was delicious. The owner was super friendly. The timing of the food was great also. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
I've been coming to Escondite West Island since it opened & everything is just as delicious as the first time. Saman, Jess, & the rest of the friendly staff go above & beyond to make sure we're happy. Very consistent. Fantastic vibe, excellent service, delicious food, amazing drinks, easy parking & always a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this West Island gem.❤️❤️❤️
Staff is amazing, the food is good but it is very pricy for the amount of food they serve. Very recommended for special occasions or drinks with friends
I organized a work event for 20+ people. Service was excellent, we didn't have to wait at the entrance & the food was yummy. Hundred percent recommended
Escondite has incredible food & service. Our waitress was wonderful & kind. I would highly recommend going & ordering the "sample". I hope you come on an empty stomach however, as I found myself under the condition of "full from eating too much food". Fantastic!!!
