On a recent trip to Montreal we were looking for a different type of food/cultural experience & found it at Ermitage. We were a group of 6 had & had a wonderful evening. Service was great! Atmosphere was fantastic! Food was amazing! We sampled a lot of the menu & there was nothing I would not recommend. Even though my birthday was the next day, they still offered a small birthday celebration for me - bad luck to play the music & fully celebrate a day early . Thank you! We loved our interactions with the staff, they were all really awesome. Everyone agreed that Ermitage was the highlight of the annual weekend trip up North!
Amazing food, celebrated my birthday with a friend & loved the experience from A to Z! A must try! One of the best restaurants in the city, it's hard to find these days!

Ermitage has become our go-to place for many special occasions- anniversaries, birthdays & even a wedding party. Chef Oleg & the staff are consistently attentive, & the décor effortlessly chic. It's the perfect setting for a sophisticated ambiance. The house wine is delightful, & the price is excellent value given the fine-dining feel of the candles, fresh linen & it's European-style décor. I strongly recommend this gem for any form of gathering over a nice meal &/or celebration.
I was brought to this restaurant as a birthday surprise, & it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, made from Eastern European recipes I have had my whole life-- each bite delivered a palatable sense of nostalgia. The server, who was friendly also spoke three languages, & could clearly communicate with everyone in our party. Will definitely be coming again!
We celebrated a birthday here, & it turned out to be the owner's birthday too - what a fun coincidence! The whole experience felt so personal & lively. Birthday cake & songs made everything feel extra festive. The decor is super interesting & gives the place a lot of character, & the food was genuinely delicious. It's one of those places that feels really warm & inviting. Honestly, if you're looking for a cozy spot with a lot of heart, this place is perfect.
We went here for my dad's 78th birthday - I wanted to give him a taste of home & it did not disappoint! Amazing food, service & decor. You could taste the care they put in the dishes they serve & I really appreciated the warm service we received. Good pricing too. We will be back! Спасибо 🤍

This restaurant is such a gem! Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here tonight & the staff went above & beyond to make it special. The menu is very reasonable & the food was great! Highly recommend!!
Celebrated a meaningful birthday on a Saturday night with family & friends. We pre-ordered the place at full capacity. We coordinated the menu servings & the seating plan in advance with the owners who are the chef & his wife (who is the chief waitress). They were extremely welcoming & cooperative throughout the whole process. On the evening of the event the restaurant's staff greeted our guests & guided them to their places around the tables according to a seating plan that we shared with the owners several days earlier. The serving was extremely efficient & pleasant without disturbance to the celebration, the staff were even going out of their way helping & adding to the atmosphere at some points. The food itself was fantastic both in serving style & quality, everyone getting exactly what they asked for & without delays. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the food, the taste & the quantities being served. Oh, & the restaurant is extremely tastefully decorated, very clean - including the toilets, & an extremely clean, highest-quality baby seat. Everything to the last detail. A wonderful experience, could not have expected a better one!
Amazing place! The atmosphere was very friendly & welcoming, & all the staff were very kind as well. The food was delicious & everything was hand-made. I would definitely come back - one of the best places I've been to in Montreal for sure! We also celebrated a friends birthday & the staff made sure it was an amazing experience :)
It's been 3 years since we've been coming to this restaurant for my husband's birthday. Service is always good, the lady is very generous & polite, ambience is pleasant, food is good & fresh! Best Russian resto in Montreal.

Excellent service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. I was there for my birthday & was treated like a princess. The lovely server truly made it a wonderful experience & my family & I thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
I brought my wife to Ermitage for her birthday. We had the degustation menu & everything was so delicious. For the main dishes, we selected the wapiti & the beef stroganoff. The sauces on both dishes were delicious, we literally lick the plate clean. The service was impeccable & the waitress was just so lovely. We will definitely return to try the other dishes.
Extremely good experience for having a fine dinner or celebrating for birthday! Excellent food, suitable service, all is well beyond expectations! Worth going!

We had an amazing experience at Ermitage restaurant celebrating my husband birthday. Beautiful abeyance, welcoming atmosphere created by our beautiful hosts. Great service. Thank you very much Galina & Andrey! The food was absolutely delicious & wonderful musicians made our evening there unforgettable.

Visited the restaurant for a birthday celebration. This was our first time there as we are from Ottawa. We ordered the Menu Degustation, & if you want to try different Russian plates, this is the best way to do it. The service was outstanding, the music was very nice. There was a power outage around 10pm in the area (not just the restaurant), however that did not spoil our plans, we continue to celebrate. The ambience was nice with candlelight & another table celebrating a birthday found some music on the Iphone, so we just danced the night away. Once more, amazing service by the waiter, he was very nice, polite, attentive! We are definitely be back, next time we are in Montreal. Thank you for everything.
