Ermitage has become our go-to place for many special occasions- anniversaries, birthdays & even a wedding party. Chef Oleg & the staff are consistently attentive, & the décor effortlessly chic. It's the perfect setting for a sophisticated ambiance. The house wine is delightful, & the price is excellent value given the fine-dining feel of the candles, fresh linen & it's European-style décor. I strongly recommend this gem for any form of gathering over a nice meal &/or celebration.

J'ai adoré mon service & la nourriture! J'ai eu l'occasion de danser sur de la bonne musique après mon repas succulent (servi avec amour & connaissance par Galina). L'ambiance est excellente & la décoration très jolie. La multitude de saveurs est à partager en famille!

Ce lieu est une véritable pépite : excellent rapport qualité-prix, expérience culturelle enrichissante & accueil chaleureux. Une expérience à recommander sans hésitation.

La propriétaire, d'une grande gentillesse, a pris le temps de tout expliquer & nous a même offert une attention. On sent une véritable passion & une volonté sincère de faire plaisir.
La nourriture était délicieuse. Nous sommes venus pour les soupes & avons eu la belle surprise de découvrir une cuisine authentique & raffinée. Le restaurant, décoré avec élégance, reflète le soin des propriétaires jusque dans les détails, comme les superbes orchidées naturelles.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Montreal-no doubt about it! Nothing else even comes close. It's like tasting food straight from heaven. The ambiance is a perfect mix of chic, romantic, & family-friendly. The décor adds so much charm to the atmosphere. The owner is impeccable-friendly, welcoming, & completely hands-on, making sure every detail is perfect. I highly recommend this place. Never skip it-go eat there!

J'ai découvert ce restaurant tout récemment & après ma visite, je me suis dit qu'il fallait absolument que je partage mon avis sur cette belle expérience!

Premièrement, l'endroit est très joli, bien décoré & bien entretenu! La nourriture est vraiment excellente (j'ai choisi les cailles grillées avec sauce aux griottes (des petits fruits que je pourrais décrire comme étant un croisement entre des cerises & des canneberges en ce qui concerne leur apparence & leur goût) & j'ai choisi le sorbet au dessert. Tous les plats que je voyais sortir de la cuisine avaient vraiment l'air appétissants!

Il m'était évident que le tout est cuisiné avec beaucoup de savoir faire & d'amour, & c'est pour cette raison que je tenais à vous partager mon expérience ici!

La belle qualité du service est vraiment à souligner également (service très aimable & chaleureux).

Je compte bien y retourner avec ma famille & amis prochainement afin de pouvoir découvrir les autres plats offerts au menu, & je vous recommande absolument ce bon restaurant!

Je suis aller pour l'anniversaire de ma conjointe, le service était formidable & la nourriture était délicieuse. Les prix sont abordables surtout le menu de la table d'hôte. L'ambiance est tranquille & chaleureuse idéal pour des belles discussions dans un merveilleux décors.

Nous avons été charmés par l'accueil discret, professionnel mais tout autant chaleureux. Nous avons adoré l'ambiance, tant au niveau de la musique que du décor. & surtout, nous avons très apprécié la cuisine, tant pour les saveurs délicates & raffinées que pour la fraicheur & la qualité des ingrédients.

Went here for dinner with my Mom last weekend. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, & the cozy, vintage decor makes you feel like you're eating in a parlour from the early 1900s. 10/10 would recommend

Expérience exceptionnelle ! Je recommande absolument ! J'y suis allée la première fois pour un anniversaire, le service était attentionné & chaleureux. La nourriture est d'une fraîcheur tout à fait remarquable & les aliments sont d'une très grande qualité, tout était simplement délicieux! La décoration du restaurant est magnifique & parfaite pour des photos. Je recommande fortement le menu dégustation. Les portions sont généreuses & grandement suffisantes pour 2 personnes. J'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner, merci encore à tout le personnel pour ce merveilleux souper.

Food: the food here is amazing. This is the single best Russian/eastern European that I've ever been too. The food was amazing & the recommendations were all spot on. I usually eat meat medium, they encouraged me that the best way for my meal to be eaten (the medallions i belive) was rare & oh boy it did not disappoint, it was one of the best meals I've eaten. I am also a huge hater of zucchini & was not going to eat it when it came with my meal, I ended up trying it & it was cooked to perfection. I split the tasting menu (witc was for two people, costed $110, gave 4 appetizers a main meal each, dessert & a drink)& everything on it was made with love & delicious. Service: The people that work at the restaurant are the nicest workers I've seen. It's clear they care about each consumer & value a nice, peaceful environment. They gave helpful truthful suggestions about what to order, made jokes with my party of four throughout the dinner, & when leaving encouraged us to take a lot of tiny candies on the way out. The service from beginning to end was amazing. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is very homey & peaceful. Though the restaurant is small, I've never had any trouble with getting a table for four. If anything, the restaurant allows for a nice personal vibe. The lighting dimmed with the light outside, it was made up of warm candle & overhead lighting. The decorations in the restaurant & wallpaper also furthered the homey feeling, it felt like going to a grandparents house. :]

We celebrated a birthday here, & it turned out to be the owner's birthday too - what a fun coincidence! The whole experience felt so personal & lively. Birthday cake & songs made everything feel extra festive. The decor is super interesting & gives the place a lot of character, & the food was genuinely delicious. It's one of those places that feels really warm & inviting. Honestly, if you're looking for a cozy spot with a lot of heart, this place is perfect.

Celebrated a meaningful birthday on a Saturday night with family & friends. We pre-ordered the place at full capacity. We coordinated the menu servings & the seating plan in advance with the owners who are the chef & his wife (who is the chief waitress). They were extremely welcoming & cooperative throughout the whole process. On the evening of the event the restaurant's staff greeted our guests & guided them to their places around the tables according to a seating plan that we shared with the owners several days earlier. The serving was extremely efficient & pleasant without disturbance to the celebration, the staff were even going out of their way helping & adding to the atmosphere at some points. The food itself was fantastic both in serving style & quality, everyone getting exactly what they asked for & without delays. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the food, the taste & the quantities being served. Oh, & the restaurant is extremely tastefully decorated, very clean - including the toilets, & an extremely clean, highest-quality baby seat. Everything to the last detail. A wonderful experience, could not have expected a better one!
