It was nice! They treated us with salsa & chips, the service was friendly.
There was a list of vegetarian options on the menu.
It's a restaurant + a small store with Mexican snacks, baked goods & in store made options (like guacamole).
I don't know what sauce that was, but I will put it on everything! Great food & a great atmosphere...

Honestly some of the best Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico. Definitely some of the best chilaquiles I've ever had. Great little spot next to Jean talon market.

Great place to eat Mexican food with a true Mexican flavor. Excellent place, always attentive to what is needed at the table, their food is as similar as possible to a Mexican dish.
Une place très sympathique & savoureux ! Le service était impeccable & nos plats au-delà de nos attentes ! Nous avions pris 4 tacos & enchilada a l'agneau servis avec salade maison & guacamole. Je vous recommande la place 100% !
Had a fantastic experience at Roi Du Tacos Restaurant! The atmosphere was lively, the food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the tacos & guacamole!), & the service made it even better. A big shoutout to Mia!, our waiter - she was incredibly attentive, friendly, & made us feel right at home. From great food to warm hospitality, this place checks all the boxes. Definitely coming back soon!
BEWARE: don't go there if you value your teeth
I went there recently with a friend. We ordered tacos. The service was fast, & the food was decent, until… I was chewing & suddenly I bit on something rock hard; something which clearly had no business being in the food. I spitted out some of it on a napkin but all I could find were big pieces of my back molar (I probably swallowed the culprit). Then the atrocious pain came. My friend looked into my mouth & said that half of my tooth was gone. Obviously, the nerve was exposed because of the sensitivity. We called the waiter & he in turn called the owner/manager (he wouldn't say). This is when the whole matter took a nasty turn. Instead of apologizing & trying to make it better for me by cooperating, he got upset & told me there was no charge & to GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE. Yes, you heard! Even though I showed him the pieces of my tooth to prove I wasn't lying. The whole was so surreal that I felt compelled to start filming it; which is something I never do. I had to follow him through the place & he was very rude & dismissive: he said'I have nothing to say, call the cops if you want' & just kept prompting me to leave. The irony is that up to that point, I had no intention of hurting their reputation. Well, I went to the dentist & got a huge filling, but the damage is such that I will eventually need a root canal & a crown. Needless to say, a very expensive outing & extremely unpleasant to say the least.
I've been coming here for a very long time, & it never disappoints. Hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in Montreal! The flavors are authentic, the food is always fresh, & the atmosphere is vibrant. A must-visit for anyone who loves great Mexican cuisine.
Excellente cuisine mexicaine, savoureuse & généreuse, avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Le service est correct, même si un peu plus d'attention aurait rendu l'expérience parfaite. L'ambiance est conviviale, animée sans être trop bruyante. Un bel endroit pour manger sur place & découvrir de bons tacos dans un cadre agréable. J'y retournerai avec plaisir !
Not real mexican flavors, the rice taste like masala. It is not hard using tomatoes, onion, garlic, salt & water. Why masala?
I am not asking for 100% mexican flavors, i am just asking not to taste indian food.
The food & drink was delicious & the waiters are polite! It is a bit pricey though, but other than that the restaurant is great!
