This authentic Mexican restaurant located just across the Lachine Canal, in an old brick house in Old Lachine welcomes you in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is already several years that this Mexican gem serves its secret family recipes. They started timidly years ago in Dorval for those who remember, and it is through satisfied customers that this Mexican restaurant has made a name for itself and today El Meson ranks among the best Latin restaurants in Montreal.

La cuisine mexicaine est superbe quand elle est bien apprêtée & ce resto en est la preuve, fajitas, gaspacho,chiles rellenos au boeuf, tout était excellent & copieux, bières en pichet ,drinks & vins disponibles à bas prix. Excellent service aussi.

The ambient, music, & service was welcoming. As starters we had guacamole, caldo tlalpeno & horchata as beverage.The food was delicious although it took some time to get the main dishes. We had Pollo a la barbacoa & Nopales con carne. We understand that fresh food takes a while. Very pleasant experience in this beautiful place. Thanks to the team, very gentle & friendly. 😊🥰

Very nice, comfortable family run restaurant with friendly & helpful staff. Food was good & reasonably portioned. There are non-alcoholic drinks as well.

Beautiful spot! Warm relaxing atmosphere & fabulous decor!
The service was impeccable! Our server, who I unfortunately forgot to ask his name was attentive & knowledgeable.
The food was beautifully presented & delicious!
