Nous avons été un mardi soir. Le resto était à moitié plein. Une belle ambiance. Le décor est hétéroclite mais de bon goût & bien dosé. Service des serveuses impeccables. Rapide & attentionné. La musique était juste assez forte pour mettre une bonne ambiance festive mais pas trop pour un mardi soir. La nourriture était très bonne & très goûteuse! Le vue sur rivière Chateaugay était un plus. Le prix des repas était juste. Je recommande dans hésitation.

Les cocktails étaient tellement bons.
Les plats sont délicieux & copieux (on peut même partir avec une petite boîte si on arrive pas à tout finir).
Le personnel de salle est accueillant, rapide & efficace.
Le décor est vraiment sympa.
& le prix n'est pas trop dispendieux pour la qualité (2 boissons par personne, entrée & plat principal : environ 60$ chacun)
Pensez à arriver tôt car il n'y a pas de réservation.
Une découverte pour nous, & on ne manquera pas d'y retourner régulièrement.

Nice place , but no reservations makes it a bit stressful however it went well , showed up at 5 left around 7 on a Sunday & it was almost full but not , the food delicious , cocktail delicious, nice outdoor terrace , inside well decorated... Service was friendly & quick ....

La sangria était trops coupé avec de la glace,ce qui la rendait moins goûteuse mais pour le reste c'était top.

Loved our experience there. Food was very good so was the service. Took the nachos & guacamole app. The guac was very good! Quesadillas for meal, also very good & churros for dessert, SO good. Mojito to drink, SO good! Very polite & friendly staff. The music wasn't too loud so we could hear ourselves talk whitout yelling. The decor was very cute..it's a small restaurant, so I'm assuming maybe on weekends it gets very busy. There's a bar & also tables to sit & eat.
El Cactus est un véritable trésor culinaire à Châteauguay ! L'expérience y est merveilleuse du début à la fin. Le décor est vibrant & accueillant. Le personnel est incroyablement sympathique & offre un service exceptionnel, ce qui rend chaque visite agréable. Les tacos al pastor étaient incroyablement savoureux, avec des saveurs parfaitement équilibrées, & le poulet mariné était tendre & juteux. Les portions sont généreuses & qualité des ingrédients se fait sentir dans chaque bouchée. L'ambiance chaleureuse ajoute une touche spéciale à ce restaurant déjà formidable. C'est un endroit que je recommande vivement à tous les amateurs de cuisine mexicaine (& de bons drinks).

This restaurant has its good & bad. First of all, the margaritas are excellents! Sadly, the service is very bad. It takes so long to be welcomed, to order & to get the orders. (That was our experience, but the people next to us arrived after us & got everything so quick, they left before we had our meals. *we ordered tacos, just like them*) maybe they were the lucky ones or they were regulars... The food has a lack of flavor. It's not bad, but it's not "wow". They could use more spices & tastiness. It is totally overpriced for what it is. The restaurant is very nice & well decorated. It is nice to look around & discover all the cute things everything. They have nice merch. Overall, I would not recommend.
Nice décor, good margaritas, decent food. Honestly, though, I did a little warm/stuffy inside, so much so that we cut our dinner short. Tacos are OK, but there's better Mexican restaurants around. I find it very pricey for what you get. 140 bucks for some tacos, salsa & chips, & a couple drinks...Seems a little extra extra.
We came here before the renovations & new menu which at that time the food & atmosphere was already good but I must say that you have outdone yourselves! The place looks even better; the colors & decorations are beautiful & relaxing along with the Mexican music in the background. We are transported to Mexico without leaving here! Your new menu is even more delicious & we like the new choices. We are for sure returning & bringing the family too! Wishing you a continued success! See you again!

Awesome & authentic food! Not your typical, Americanized, Mexican restaurant. Quaint little place, decorated with all the charm that the Mexican culture has to offer. If you like Mexican, you can't go wrong.
Un petit restaurant qui cache bien des trésors ! L'endroit est chaleureux, décor typique très coloré & de bon goût, musique qui nous transporte directement sur la plage au Mexique...on se sent réellement en vacances....belle terrasse, les boissons sont goûteuses & généreuses pour un bon prix (comme les plats), les employé(e)s sont dynamiques & on sent qu'ils aiment leur travail...& la nourriture est exquise.....il y beaucoup de goût, d'amour, l'assaisonnement est parfait, saveurs diverses qu'on prend plaisir à découvrir....nous allons presque tous les dimanches pour la soirée Tapas & nous arrivons tôt puisque le resto se remplit rapidement !
Mais quel petit bijou ce resto!! J'adore j'adore!! La nourriture, l'ambiance, la terasse & le décors sont au rendez-vous! Nourriture typique du Mexique avec un menu qui alterne de temps en temps. Les serveurs sont fort sympathique mais quelques fois il y a beaucoup d'attentes entre les services. Mais le resto est tellement génial que se Très petit "hic" passe quelques fois incognito.
