The waiter was racist & disrespectful. We had access to this restaurant with our package at the resort however we received no information for any of the plates we were given. The restaurant also did not respect the allergies we had told them about which resulted in a very dangerous situation for us. The food itself was very average & definently is not worth the premium price. Avoid at all cost!

Not very impressed. Reserved a birthday celebration for my date. Absolutely nothing special about our dinner. Service was sub par. Some of the appetizers were ok. Udon noodle chicken was bland. Our server, who didn't provide her name, couldn't even smile. Then when the bill came, she tried to pass an $89 bottle of wine on there that we didn't have. Had high expectations for a Saturday night romantic birthday dinner. Complete fail. Hard pass…

Les sushis étaient frais, savoureux & vraiment bien préparés. Chaque bouchée était délicieuse ! Le service était aussi excellent : rapide, attentionné & très accueillant. La serveuse a rendu l expérience encore plus agréable avec sa gentillesse & son professionnalisme. Une superbe adresse que je recommande sans hésiter pour un bon repas sushi !
We called around 6:00 pm to ask about availability for five people at 6:30 pm (low season) & were told there was space. I said we would come right away from Mont-Tremblant, & the person on the phone confirmed & encouraged us to come. They did not ask for my name or contact information.
When we arrived on time, we were told there was no availability & that the wait would be about an hour. They were able to find a record of our call, so there was no misunderstanding that we had spoken-yet no table had been held.
If a customer calls, & is told there is availability & says they are coming immediately, & the restaurant says see you soon, is it not common sense to either hold the table or take a name. Otherwise, what is the purpose of calling?
The situation was frustrating, & when we tried to clarify, the server was very unpleasant in person. Overall, this reflects poor communication & basic service.
I highly recommend this place. Perfection in every detail-from the sushi & atmosphere to the outstanding service. Many thanks to Chef Merts, Minh, Ken, & Stéphanie for their genuine hospitality. Je vous apprécie énormément. Merci beaucoup!
Le cadre est magnifique & le service impeccable. Bien qu'il y ait un peu d'attente pour la préparation, la fraîcheur des produits en vaut vraiment la peine. Je recommande vivement cette adresse pour une soirée réussie!
À l'occasion de mon anniversaire de naissance, j'ai choisi d'aller souper à cet excellent restaurant. Cependant, après avoir fait une réservation depuis plus de 2 semaines, à notre arrivée on voulait nous faire assoir au comptoir, devant les chefs ,
Soit une option inacceptable pour nous. Toutes les tables étaient occupées par des enfants. Comprenez-moi bien ,j'adore les enfants. En plus, nous somme des gens de la région. Dans cette situation, le personnel aurait dû nous aviser de cette situation afin de pouvoir aller à un autre très bon restaurant de la région. Je suis vraiment très déçue!

This is the absolute best sushi that you will ever have. The fish is fresh & delicious with beautiful presentation. Chef Mertz is always friendly accommodating & the reason we always come back!
Unbelievable service with chef Mati
The fish was absolutely amazing, fresh, tender & melted in your mouth ! Combinations were simply delicious.
Wine suggested from Spain was out of this world & I have tried my share of wines, Tempranillo which is typically a red was now white & it was fabulous!
I came her many times but every visit gets better, Chef Mati & staff continue to offer an unexpected & unforgivable experience
The food at Ekki Sushi was actually quite good, which makes the rest of the experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, everything else fell well below expectations.
Despite arriving on time for our reservation, we waited nearly 20 minutes just to be seated. From there, the service never really recovered. The restaurant is clearly understaffed, & it shows in every aspect of the experience. Tables weren't cleared in a timely manner, service felt scattered, & the overall flow was disorganized.
The location itself is… interesting. Getting into the restaurant involves navigating a fairly steep slope, & on the way out, there was a noticeable sewage or septic smell along the stairs, which was hard to ignore.
It's disappointing because the food has potential, but the service & overall experience left a poor impression. Not somewhere we'll be returning to.
UPDATED: 100% use FAKE lobster & market as real. If not... post photo of the lobster on the salad, menu (where it just says lobster) & packaging from where lobster sourced &/or shells. Totally dishonest response. Beyond that, the food is oversalted & seemingly heavy on MSG, the prices are steep, & the service is quite poor. AVOID!!!
