The staff have a very bad attitude. They refuse to communicate properly with customers & seem more interested in getting people out than providing good service. Very disappointing experience.
The sushi & rolls were out of this world. Chef Merts, the head chef created some chef's choice rolls that were so so good. The taste & texture & flavor profiles were phenomenal. Sara & Lily were great servers & provided exceptional recommendations.
We came here the summer of 2021 when they first opened & I must say the food quality was exceptionally pleasing & very tasteful .
Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't what it used to be. The food lacks the freshness, creativity, & consistency that kept us coming back. It feels like something important has changed, & the overall experience has suffered because of it.
The dishes seem less refined, flavours are less memorable, & the overall experience feels noticeably different. It's disappointing to see a place with so much potential lose what made it special.
I visited Ekki Sushi at Bel Air Tremblant & unfortunately the experience was disappointing, especially for the price point. We spent over $300 & expected much higher quality & service.
The wait time for the food was very long, & several dishes lacked freshness & flavor. Salmon sashimi is not even that fresh. Tuna sashimi is smell bad too. Some items looked visually appealing but did not taste memorable or worth the premium pricing at all. The overall experience felt more focused on presentation & luxury branding than actual food quality. It's not worth it.
The atmosphere & location are beautiful, but the dining experience itself did not match the expectations created by the prices & reputation. The long delays & underwhelming food made the night disappointing overall.
I don't mind paying high prices for good sushi, but in this case the quality-to-price ratio did not feel justified.
Food is amazing but they can't make an order right. We order every week from them & they can't seem to have an order on time or right. Every time, I want to give them a chance because of the quality of the food, but for the price they charge, they should know better ! To add to the irritation there is no email to reach them & no direct line to speak to anyone on site, voice mail is always full.
Eating there is always a gamble with service.
The waiter was racist & disrespectful. We had access to this restaurant with our package at the resort however we received no information for any of the plates we were given. The restaurant also did not respect the allergies we had told them about which resulted in a very dangerous situation for us. The food itself was very average & definently is not worth the premium price. Avoid at all cost!
Not very impressed. Reserved a birthday celebration for my date. Absolutely nothing special about our dinner. Service was sub par. Some of the appetizers were ok. Udon noodle chicken was bland. Our server, who didn't provide her name, couldn't even smile. Then when the bill came, she tried to pass an $89 bottle of wine on there that we didn't have. Had high expectations for a Saturday night romantic birthday dinner. Complete fail. Hard pass…
