Freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients and attractively presented, our menu only has one flaw: you could eat too much! Who says you should be crowded in a restaurant? Nice ambiance, i had a club sandwich, the chicken was not the freshest but still okay. The fries were clearly re-fried multiple times, they were warm & crispy but didn't have the normal color of a freshly fried fries.
Also had a filter coffee, tasted like the end of a coffee barrel. Very bad.
I would not recommend for the brunch menu given this.

Our experience at Eggspectation was awesome! Our server Ihab made us feel welcome & took great care of us. We would come back just for his service. The food was great & the coffee was endless & perfect for a cold day like today.

Quick genuinely friendly service. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality food & service at this inner city location. Very good coffee drinks - & we are not easy to please when it comes to coffee! Just a block from our hotel. No wait at 8:00 am on a Sunday. Everyone we met was very pleasant. 10/10. Thank you to our server Rubel.

The food was good, but I am not satisfied with the service. Coffee arrived late, & I asked them to give me a hot sauce, which I have not received.

THE place to go for breakfast when staying in downtown Montreal as far as I'm concerned. The food is delicious, the coffee hot & plentiful, the servce prompt & friendly, & the expansive view of the street from the second floor dining room is a unique pleasure, esp. once the sun goes behind the building across the street.

I think is a decent place for brunch. In my opinion it's a bit overpriced. The breakfast options while vast are all similar. Replacement of potatoes that are the main choice for everything is relatively expensive, making all breakfast options a little less light & very heavy. The day we went the potatoes were also under seasoned. So bland potatoes with your breakfast is a disappointment. To replace the potatoes it's 6$, kinda pricy if you simply prefer lighter side. Other than that options are min 20$. That's quite pricy for the portion & I want to say limited modifications allowance. I would not mind if I could change potatoes to a salad, but otherwise kinda a let down. Drinks are good. Coffee is good. Portion size okay. It's decent place for breakfast but if I'm honest I think there are better out there for the price. That being said, you will find something you would be satisfied with on the menu for sure. Hence 4 stars. The staff was kind. Due to being busy it just takes a little while for service. I'd recommend if it's your vibe.

Had breakfast here on our trip to Montreal was pretty near to our hotel 🏨 . The pancakes 🥞 were fully nice & heavy to finish off :) . Coffee ☕️ was ok but not too great. But altogether loved the breakfast.🍳

It was a mediocre experience. Sadly, they are far away from the quality ingredients years back. I understand that strawberries could be raw, bananas small, decaf coffee cold. But what about the service? It was either not my day or their day. In short, I won't visit again out of this many alternatives.

The food was great, the servings were generous, but the drip coffee was at best drinkable & cost 3$ -- a lot on top of the price of the meals -- & for an unpleasant & cheap end to a nice meal, they charge 75 cents for a to go box. It feels very nickel & dime on a meal that isn't cheap.

Sad. Such a cute looking place, but for a last minute breakfast before we leave to go back to the US, the food came out cold (or lukewarm at best), with no offers of coffee refills? & it wasn't even busy. Very expensive for what it is, not attentive or accommodating service. Not recommended, especially at these prices.
