Freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients and attractively presented, our menu only has one flaw: you could eat too much! Who says you should be crowded in a restaurant? Our upscale interior decor includes colourful murals, rustic cement columns, stone and brick walls, and an open kitchen. We just arrived in Mtl this morning & needed breakfast. After a quick search we decided to try Eggspectation. Its interior is very cool, with another level upstairs. We were greeted very politely. Our server was fantastic, checking back with us just enough. The food came out super fast, portions were big, & food was tasty. Definitely worth going, we'd go back without question. Only thing I was I remembered to take some photos to shared.

Pretty good place for the breakfast but service is terrible.long waiting time,then they're forgot about one of our order,but it was not so many people inside.no excuse & any bonuses for this fail.we were really disappointed about this.

Our waiter AHMED was the best his French & English is on point, his humour was nice touch, he accommodated my nutrition add ons, he as very polite & the service was above par

Visiting Montreal & wanted a great sit down breakfast place. Nice, easy location. Plenty of seating, fast efficient service. Breakfast tacos were good, but should be served in a hard shell. The smoked salmon Benny was really good. Cappuccino was perfecto.

This was best restaurant I had through my stay .if I can give it 10 stars I would . service was great the setting was amazing .the food was wonderful...fresh squeeze juice was fabulous...im going again tomorrow .no complaints.if you want breakfast or brunch this is the go too hands down ... only reasony bill was high because I'm extra but average is 20 $ person

Enjoyed an excellent breakfast here in April 2025. Our server, Beatriz, was pleasant, prompt & attentive, & helped us successfully navigate an impressive menu full of very tempting options. The'Eggstraordinary' plate was delicious, the portions generous, & the prices quite reasonable for the quality. Highly satisfied.
Update (Oct. 2025): Returned for more satisfying & tasty breakfasts (same order as before), along with great service from Ranjan!

We came for breakfast & loved it so much, we had to come back again. The staff is so friendly & kind. The atmosphere & ambiance is great. Rubel served us first time. We specifically asked for his section the 2nd time (see photo). Highly recommend!

Went to eggspectation with some friends from Sunday brunch. This was my first time but they had been there a couple of time & recommended it for our meal.
We orded their regular Poutine for the table as an entrée & it was a great start to our lunch.
Was looking to have a french toast breakfast but also wanted something savory, so ended up ordering the chicken🍗 & Waffels & requested that my waffles be substituted with french toast. They were very accommodating to this request.
That was one of the best breakfast🍳🍳 I have had. Just delicious😋😋😋 with a healthy helping of Canadian maple syrup.
Thank you to Rubel, our server for the great & efficient service. He was very attentive to our group.
I will definitely be going back for more amazing brunches I the future.

I tried 2 breakfast in Eggspectation ,loved them so much .The foods were delicious & the drinks were so good,exactly what I needed to start my day .There was a guy named Poria who was so welcoming & kind, he really made the experience even better. Definitely a place I'll coming back
