This restaurant is one of the hidden gems in Montreal. We found it on a trip here a year ago & came back twice this trip. We have had brunch twice & dinner tonight & it didn't disappoint. The staff here are amazing, every visit makes us think we just had the best server ever. We have never had trouble getting a table here even during very busy times. Do yourself a favour & visit soon & often!
Food was okay. Prices are a bit much. Restaurant seemed okay, but I felt it was quite dirty while walking through to get to the restroom. Service was subpar. Only seen our server when we ordered, got our good, & flagged his down for the bill. Needed a second glass of water but he looked the other way while walking past our table. Eventually got his attention to get water & the bill.
Rebel was an amazing server at Eggspectation! Super friendly, attentive, & made the whole experience really enjoyable. He checked in on us often, made sure everything was perfect, & had such a great attitude the entire time. The food came out great & the service was even better thanks to him. Definitely one of the best restaurant experiences we've had

As an someone who isn't really the talkative type during the mornings, I appreciated Ranjan's service! If you're looking for a brunch/lunch spot with a really cozy vibe, I would suggest checking this place out even if you're alone! The food was great, I had a Fresh Start where the fruits that come with it were served fresh! I also had an espresso macchiato but if you're not into the bitterness of coffee, it would be best to add a good amount of sugar. Overall a 10/10 place for me & I will definitely come back to try out more of what they have to offer :))

Had a wonderful experience at Eggspectation in Montreal. The service was exceptional from start to finish - the staff was friendly, attentive, & genuinely focused on making sure everyone was comfortable & happy. We come to Montreal once a year & always make sure to come here for breakfast because the experience is consistently excellent. What truly stood out this time was the manager's attention to detail & customer care. Even though only the downstairs section was open, the manager knew that we enjoy sitting upstairs in the booths &, without hesitation, accommodated us. That level of hospitality & personal attention is rare to find these days. The food was excellent, the atmosphere welcoming, & the entire experience made us feel genuinely valued as customers. Highly recommend visiting when in Montreal
