What a gem of a place!
I'm suprised that this restaurant doesn't get that much exposure (yet?)
I just happened to find it online as we were spontaneously looking for a place to spend my birthday near Laval.

Their steak was amazing, it went perfectly with the choices of veggies that included on the plate! Overall the food we ordered is delicious.

The lady served us is super nice, although we don't speak much French; was very accommodating & patience with speaking with us.

One thing i noticed though is the serving plate they used on the steak is small so it's quite hard to work on cutting the steak without the rest of the food getting spilled off the plate 😅 but that's just me! Ain't a big thing.

We'd definitely would come back again & try the other food from their menu.

Un souper en famille où nous nous sommes régaler. C'était une deuxième fois pour nous, & nous avons encore une fois adoré. Les frites maison sont succulentes. Nous avons eu le bonheur d'être servi par Amélie & le service était excellent!!

Superbe petit resto. Service hors pair. Présentation des plats recherchée. Musique agréable & non envahissante Bavette un tantinet trop salée. Mais sinon, vraiment une belle découverte à Laval!

The staff was very nice & attentive, but the food, although it tasted great, did not have this fancy look to it that we expect for its price. But the thing that brings down the rating for me is the disparate plates such as entrees served on old china & cheap dollar store utensils.
We shared one entree, the wife had one glass of wine & we each had our main course. With taxes & tip we spent $150. At that price, & with the name Bistro, I expect every detail to be perfect. & no placemats on the table on the terrasse, the table was a bit dusty from being next to St-Martin, & we sat on cheap plastic chairs.
I don't mind paying a good price but give me the upscale experience that goes with it.
