Reviews paint Dunya as a go-to for authentic Lebanese shawarma and falafel, with juicy chicken and beef shawarma, crispy fries, fresh fattoush, and house made toum, plus beloved peach iced tea and ashta ice cream at affordable prices. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making dining in or takeout feel easy and enjoyable. People praise quick service, good value, and consistent flavors that remind them of home, even as the venue can get crowded and seating is limited. Occasional notes include delivery mixups or small wraps, but these are outweighed by praise for quality, authenticity, and the overall experience.
A must eat in Montreal! It is hands down the most authentic & delicious shawarma, you'll ever have there. Inexpensive but high quality ingredients, the garlic sauce so fragrant, the sandwich served to you perfectly hot! Their iced teas are made in house & are just perfect to quench your thirst! The fries perfectly thin & crispy & the falafels are even a hit! Do not walk out of there without the soft serve.
Personally even the ambiance is a 10. Do not skip this stop if in Montreal!

Hands down best in town, no contest. Meat is juicy, falafel amazing, chicken pita they add a French fry or two super delicious. Fries are perfect & portion is generous, can be shared. Get a Zamalek drink to go with it. Even their homemade hummus is amazing, better than average store ones
The wrap sandwish was loose & the bread was not fresh enough did not test well . The atmosphere load music with the public noise 16 dolar for small sandwish plus can of cola to much.
Wow, what a great discovery, Dunya really impressed me. The place was packed, but everything ran smoothly & the service was great. I had the shawarma & it was super filling, packed with flavor, & honestly just really satisfying. The sauces were a standout too, sooooooo good. Definitely a spot I'd recommend & will be going back to.
