I found the smoked meat bagel to be dry. I've had more juicy meat at other spots. My table really liked their meal but it was also their first time trying smoked meat so they didn't have anything to compare it to. They did however put a lot of meat in everyone's sandwich.

Perfect destination for visitors to the city to try Montreal smoked meat. Perfect diner vibes, comforting food that was very tasty & fresh. Service was friendly & down to earth. This was our first stop after a 7hr car ride. We stopped by around 2pm on a Friday & we were seated immediately. Service was good, knowledgeable, quick, efficient. The food was good, but nothing special. Considering their smoked meat was highly suggested, I was expecting it to be out of this world. I had the smoked meat poutine as I tried to kill two birds with one stone, & maybe that was the wrong dish to order. It was just okay. Large portion, but not bursting with flavor. It was also served lukewarm.
I'd come back if I'm ever in the area again, but will definitely try something else.View more
