Opinions of Duc de Lorraine describe a refined Parisian vibe with an impressive array of pastries and desserts that many reviewers call among the best in Montreal, from oversized croissants to intricate trompe l'oeil creations and a tarte au citron that draws rave comments. The bakery and cafe blend an elegant, cozy atmosphere near Oratoire Saint Joseph with consistently attentive, friendly service that makes guests feel welcome whether celebrating a birthday, enjoying a luxurious brunch, or stopping in for pastry and coffee. The food and desserts are praised for quality and presentation, and the overall experience is often described as charming, polished, and memorable, with a sense that the place truly delivers on its reputation. I went with friends & the food was very good! We had Wendy as our waitresses & she helped us with suggestions & being understanding. This place has a great atmosphere & it's so cool to look at all the desserts!

Andrew was an amazing server! The food was delicious. I had the fillet mignon Benedict & the dulce de letche croissant. Everything was great, I would recommend it!
Excellente expérience que j'ai vécu, le vendeur Léon était un vrai français qui s'y connaissait réellement en terme de viennoiseries. J'ai passé un super moment.
Bakery Duc de Loraine offers a delightful array of French pastries & breads, known for their authentic taste & quality. I rave about their croissants & specialty cakes, making it a must-visit for pastry enthusiasts in the area.
A tad pricy at first glance but a good restaurant can only be judged by the fine balance between quality & price. This establishment is above & beyond in the quality of the food, the attention to detail in ensuring an overall above average culinary experience. Will be returning very soon.
overpriced brunch food, underseasoned omelet, good croque monsieur & pastries, sat next to the bathroom. they have a 31$ avocado toast on the menu which is insane. mediocre cappucino
This is a great place to sit , especially in the summer . I can spend day here , literally on the terrace . The staff is the friendliest & their service is amazing !! One of the best in Montreal It's dampened a bit by the fact that their cuisine is not the best but the sweets & drinks are great I think that's their speciality in the first place maybe tried to branch out into salads & sandwiches , which I understand
Instagram advertisement was pretty intriguing. Headed there for breakfast/ brunch. The morning was slightly chillier for end of June. The restaurant had outdoor heaters available. The place was packed. Reservation should be made ahead of time. Food, presentation, restaurant cleanliness were outstanding. They have dangerous amount of pastries here. Prepare for hard choice to make. Coffee refill was suggested. We were pleasantly surprised. Our server was either new or on training. However, entire team had been taking care of our table. Paid parking on the street is possible.

Bonne cuisine & plat copieux. Dessert original (latte tiramisu) mais ambiance très bruyante & tables proches, la terrasse étant fermée. La serveuse a renversé un cocktail entier sur mes vêtements mais aucun geste commercial. Décevant vu les tarifs pratiqués.
