Honestly the best French restaurant in town hands down. the service is unparallelled. & Peter is their best kept secret! We celebrated our wedding there & even though we couldn't make up our minds & were rushed on time, Peter kept it nice, cordial & professional & we felt so understood & valued every step of the way. He went above & beyond to provide excellent service to us & our guests. The food was exquisite. Thank you so so much Peter & the Duc de Laurraine Staff. We are officially sold, & we will keep coming back!

The place overall is nice but the food is average in my opinion. My favorite was the tiramisú latte, I had crabcake eggs benedict which were ok, my husband had a burger which was also ok, for the price I expected the food to be better. Our waitress was amazing, super nice & helpful. We got a caramel millefeuille to do which was really good

Des gâteaux excellents: j'ai pris une religieuse & un Millefeuille & c'est simplement divin! On se croirait dans les meilleures boulangeries de Paris! Tout est bon & exceptionnel, le choix est très large. Le prix par contre est élévé: plus de 10$ la pâtisserie. J'ai aimé l'accueil, j'ai trouvé le personnel aboradble & professionnel malgré un monde fou(c'était samedi aprés-midi). Je remercie la gestion de l'établissement pour former leur staff pour un service impeccable.
Came to Duc de Lorraine for brunch. Food was delicious! My sister & I split Avocado toast, a salad, & a croissant that had dulce de leches filling i believe. Our server Claudia was so nice & the staff were super attentive especially when we needed refill on water. Love the outdoor seat area & they have tons of pastry selections inside!
Café dessert pour deux à 30$ sans réchauffer le café cela est décevant ! Le service, impeccable, l'ambiance très bien mais les rideaux cachent le clocher de l'oratoire & c'est malheureux.
Très déçue, on m'a recommandé cette pâtisserie en étant soit disant « l'une des meilleures de Montréal », quelle déception fut en goûtant l'un des plus grands classiques de la pâtisserie française, le Flanc. Je l'ai pris saveur praliné, espérant que le praliné soit fait maison, quelle était ma déception quand je me suis rendue compte qu'il s'agissait d'un insert à pâte à tartiner saveur praliné bien trop sucrée à l'intérieur, la pâte sucrée était trop épaisse... bref je ne recommande pas cette pâtisserie, vous pourrez trouver bien mieux ailleurs.
5 stars! My go-to breakfast spot! This beloved Montreal pastry shop & café (since 1952!) never disappoints. Their bakery & pastries are divine, but the real showstopper is their custom birthday cakes , truly exceptional! The combination of traditional charm & mouthwatering treats makes this place truly special. Extrêmement déçu par cette boulangerie pâtisserie soi-disant'authentique' au style français. Les produits sont largement surcotés, avec des goûts très moyens, rien de spécial. Le service, quant à lui, est beaucoup trop forcé, tout est dans l'excès, ce qui gâche l'expérience. Les prix sont excessivement cher pour la qualité médiocre, un attrape touriste ni plus ni moins. Si les Montrealais ce contente de ça ! Je pense que le jour où ils iront en France pour goûter de véritables pâtisseries, ils comprendront ! J'aime bien trouver du positif dans mes expériences mais là sorry je n'y arrive pas j'ai perdu mon argent
