Opinions of Duc de Lorraine describe a refined Parisian vibe with an impressive array of pastries and desserts that many reviewers call among the best in Montreal, from oversized croissants to intricate trompe l'oeil creations and a tarte au citron that draws rave comments. Tiktok has overhyped this place. Its very pricey for the quality. Not a big fan. We got a breakfast sandwich & omelette. I felt like the sandwich was made with old bread.

MUST TRY This French pastry shop & restaurant is a must try in montreal! The only negative thing I would add & this is why I give it a 4 star rating is because of how slow they are to bring out 3 already made dessert & two coffees! But if you have time to sit & wait, do try this place out!
I went there for my birthday because I thought it was a cute place with good food & stuff... But I was disappointed about the edifice which is too small. There is not enough space between the tables. I was not comfortable at all at my little table for 2. Food was delicious but a bit expensive IMO. However, the service was GOOD so I'll give the terrace a try next summe
It was our first visit & we don't speak much French, & everyone in the restuarant was very gracious, welcoming & patient. The pastries were amazing! :)
I buy birthday cakes from this pâtisserie. I also was there for soupe! It is an overprice but delicious place to go but most importantly It has beautiful cakes & croissants. Just recommended if you have money & you dont know what to do!!

The place was great, with lots of food options-all of which looked so good that it made choosing tricky! The food we ordered was excellent: we had the steak Benedict, salmon Benedict, & Florentine omelette, along with some pastries to try, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn't recommend just one thing, as everything was fantastic. The service was also great, though there was a delay in seating us due to a system error. However, they quickly seated us at a convenient table, & the service was excellent from then on. 😊
