My all-time favorite Japanese restaurant in Montreal! This spot offers the most authentic Japanese cuisine you'll find, featuring dishes that are hard to come by elsewhere-like Hamburg Steak. The portions are generous, the prices are incredibly fair, & the drinks are even better than those at most bubble tea spots!View more
Not authentic. Curry is water down & lacks of favour. The katsu's batter is all wet & not cripsy, they falls straight off the pork... Seems like they just pan fried it instead of traditional way deep fried. don't recommend.View more
It is very good Asian restaurant, maybe the taste is localized Asian food, similar to Taiwanese. It is not authentic Japanese food. For Japanese visitors, I recommend Yakidon. If you prefer localized Canadian Japanese food, I recommend Toridon which so sweet sauce is on the chicken & rice. Very reasonable price. Amazing!View more
It's a cute small place with delicious food & polite workers.View more
Wow, just wow! THE BEST OKONOMIYAKI YOU CAN HAVE IN MONTREAL! like no cap! It's the best tonkatsu I have eaten as well outside of Japan! Would 100% recommend. The place is small though but it's really freaking cozy & cool!View more
SO COZY perfect for students needing a affordable home cooked meal with a nice atmosphere, not empty or loudView more
The popcorn chicken costs $9 for 10 pieces on Doordash! I'd rather buy KFC popcorn chicken with that money instead. The food was OK overall, but I would fine at other restaurants to satisfy my donburi cravings.View more
Chashu don: perfectly balanced bowl of tender meat, juicy egg, & crispy vegetables. Simple, but sometimes that's all you need! Curry katsu: curry was alright. Not much to say but the rest was great!View more
Délicieuses nourriture, charmant & belle ambiance relaxe. Gagne à être découvert. Je vais assurément y retourner. Seul petit point négatif est la salubrité de la salle de bain, mais sinon tout était vraiment super!View more
My favourite restaurant ever homey vibes nd their curry chicken is my favourite plate I ordered it at least 5 times so far & now with holidays I am craving it even more cant wait until they open again to get again ❤️View more
Im not sure why gyudon has a mayonnaise added to it on a bowl. The waitress is accommodating but the manager is unwelcoming.View more
I got the pork cutlet with sweet & sour japanese sauce, with the curry on the side as per the waitresses recommendation as I couldn't decide. Definitely the best choice as I love the cutlet with just the S&S sauce alone. Now the cutlet was perfect, perfect crunch, perfect taste. & the fact that the place is small, makes the ambiance cozy & easier for the waitress to serve us. I loved itView more
Super homey traditional japanese dishes. Good prices.View more
Cute little place with top notch food. Love the decor. I feel like I'm in a hole in the wall spot in Japan when I go in.View more
We had high hopes given the good ratings. Unfortunately we did not enjoy it fully: - the ventilation is not good enough & you smell quite oily afterwards - the udon soup lagged taste & we needed to help with extra Soja sauce - when full house you lack space for your comfortView more
Their menu was like an album! But their food was ok...View more
