Patisserie Dolci Piu has been our go-to spot for the longest time, & it remains one of the absolute best patisseries in Montreal. Every time we visit, we're reminded why we keep returning-this place never disappoints!
For me, it's all about the cannolis. They are hands down some of the best I've ever had-perfectly crisp shells filled with creamy, flavorful ricotta filling that's just the right amount of sweet. But while the cannolis are my usual choice, I've also tried their cakes, pastries, & coffee, & everything is just top-notch. Each dessert is made with high-quality ingredients & a level of craftsmanship that sets Dolci Piu apart from the rest. Their cakes, whether for a special occasion or just a casual treat, are rich, beautifully designed, & absolutely delicious.
Beyond the sweets, they also serve sandwiches, making it a great place to stop by for a quick bite. The balance of flavors in their sandwiches, along with fresh ingredients, makes them just as good as their pastries.
The atmosphere at Dolci Piu is another reason we love it. The place is always clean, well-organized, & inviting. Whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down for a coffee & pastry, the experience is always pleasant. The staff is incredibly friendly & professional, always greeting customers with a smile & making sure everyone is taken care of.
My kids have also developed a love for Dolci Piu-every time I'm in Montreal, they expect me to bring back cannolis from there. It's become a little family tradition, & I wouldn't have it any other way.

Huge thank you to Sabrina & team for bringing our baby shower custom cake vision to life! We are loyal customers to this bakery for many years (they did our wedding cake too) which has always been consistent with quality, execution & service. We booked an appointment with Sabrina to go over our design ideas, she was patient, attentive, offered her valuable insight as well, & brought us cake flavours to taste from. I sketched the cake & they executed it exactly the way I wanted including the colour notes etc. The cake was delivered to the venue in pristine condition & taste was moist & extremely delicious. First impression was pretty good. Service was friendly & the place looks nice. I took what you see on the picture, & I didn't like any of them. When I like something I finish it in minutes. This still in my fridge half eaten since yesterday. There something about the texture of the cream they use. It's like dry nd grainy. I don't know if is because it was a bit old or what? I've been going to dolci piu for years. I have good memories of my college years buying pastries & sandwiches. In recent years, work brought me back to the neighborhood & I wasn't surprised to feel the same warmth & good found I had discovered years ago. Easter season is my favorite because of the lobster tails & zeppoles. They're amazing! I recommend this bakery for any occasion, they have amazing pastries!Voir plus

I had been here to book a cake for my son's 3rd Birthday at the daycare.At first,I had to wait for someone to see me while 2 women passed by watching me wait.After about 10 mins,one guy helped me & asked the lady in charge of cakes to attend to me..The lady seemed rude,absolutely not interested in making that cake,made faces on seeing me while smiling & greeting the others.She then kept writing off every request I made & at the end said I cannot guarantee a nut free cake,which was ok.What hurt me the most is her attitude towards me ( a customer) & the fact that she could smilingly greet the others who ate at the store but not say even a hello or hi to me..This is not the 1st time ive been treated this way cos we buy cakes & croissants quite often.I felt this was a very racist attitude by the lady & one filled with absolute no interest to attend to me..She maybe having a bad day but that was not the way she should have spoken to me..She tried every bit to drive me out rejecting everything i said..There is a major attitude problem by some of the staff in this store..Voir plus

Went to pick up my customized cake of peaches & cream. Oh boy did it mee my expectations. The process with Patricia went so well, she really took my inspiration photos & made it come to life. Sad to see how this place has declined. Not sure if the owners have changed. It used to be the best patisserie in the area, I know people who got their wedding cakes from here many years ago. Not long ago, they revamped the interior to make it more "pink" & more instagramable. That's great except that the service is now non existent & the quality & freshness of their products is very on/off. I've there at different times of the day & usually there are 3-5 people behind the counter but it looks like 3-4 are always in a corner talking to each other & only 1 is handling the public. Sometimes it's painful slow to be able to order & pay. Lately, the cleanliness of the tables is disappointing. Piles of trays & plates will sit by the trash for a long time.Voir plus
