**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Absolute Best Uyghur Experience in Brossard - Atlas Uyghur Restaurant is a Hidden Gem!**
I just had one of the most memorable meals of my life at Atlas Uyghur Restaurant in Brossard (8050 Bd Taschereau). If you're anywhere near Brossard or the South Shore, stop what you're doing & go immediately. This place isn't just good, it's exceptional. Authentic Silk Road flavors that explode with taste: smoky, savory, perfectly spiced, with that true Uyghur heart in every single bite.
### The Star of the Show: Mohammed the Waiter
Mohammed is an absolute legend. Warm, super attentive, knowledgeable, & clearly passionate about the food & culture. He treated us like honored guests in his home, not just restaurant customers. He explained every dish with pride, checked in at all the right moments, & delivered service that turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience. Mohammed, if you see this, thank you brother. You're the soul of this restaurant. 👏
### The Food is Mind-Blowingly Authentic & Delicious
Everything we tried was cooked to perfection. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, & flavors that taste like they've been handed down for generations.
- **Lamb Kebabs (Kawaplar)**: Juicy, tender, beautifully charred lamb skewers bursting with cumin, chili, & classic Uyghur spices. Smoky, rich, & dangerously addictive.
- **Petr Manti (Steamed Manti)**: Delicate steamed dumplings with seasoned lamb & onions. The dough was perfectly thin, the filling juicy & flavorful. Some of the best manti I've ever tasted.
- **Samsa**: Flaky, golden baked pastries filled with spiced beef & onions. Crispy outside, savory & aromatic inside. These vanished instantly.
- **Pilov (Plov / Polo)**: The king of Uyghur rice dishes. Fragrant rice perfectly cooked with tender lamb, carrots, onions, & spices. Hearty, comforting, & each grain soaked in flavor.
- **Lagman**: Fresh hand-pulled noodles in a bold, spicy, umami-rich sauce with vegetables & meat. That signature chewy texture from the hand-pulled noodles made it outstanding.
- **Strawberry Drinks**: Refreshing, naturally sweet, & the perfect cooling contrast to all the bold spices. Light, fruity, & highly recommended.
Every dish was spot-on, authentic, generous, & made with real care. The spice balance, textures, & freshness were flawless.
The ambiance is cozy, welcoming, & family-friendly. Clean, 100% halal, & the portions give excellent value for the quality.
If you love bold Central Asian/Uyghur cuisine (or want to try it for the first time), Atlas Uyghur Restaurant in Brossard will blow you away. Ask for Mohammed, order the lamb kebabs, manti, samsa, pilov, lagman, & strawberry drinks. You will leave extremely happy & full.
This isn't just dinner. It's a wonderful cultural experience. 10/10. Easily one of the best restaurants on the South Shore. We'll be back again & again.
Highly recommended. Go now. Bring friends. Thank you Atlas team (especially Mohammed)! 🔥🍖🥟🍜
A very satisfied (& very full) custome
All food was too spicy & had lees meat in it than what was shown in their menu.
I was visiting my friend, Tyler aka Duky at Mission Brossard an airsoft field, next door. My friend highly recommended this restaurant. I run a business similar to MB, Fort Ouest… but I'm in the Mont-Tremblant area.
Anyways…MAN my friend was right, this place is on an amazing level of flavours & the staff is super kind! The grizzling shrimp were not overly spicy (we both liked them), but my Mom's Leighman noodles were spicy. I liked her noodles, but for her it was too spicy. They were kind to bring some yogurt for her to counter the spiciness (thank you).
The dumplings were just perfect & I'm married to an awesome Filipina master chef, she cooks amazing. But your dumplings were up there near perfection!
The teas were delicious… best hot teas in a restaurant ever!
The music gave a nice calm ambiance.
In all honesty, we will be back… I got to bring my wife here & we also need to come play at MB with our Mt-Tremblant crew… & then come here!!
Restrooms are super spacious & awesomely clean!
Prices are reasonable for this level of amazing flavours!
You guys should open a restaurant in the Mont-Tremblant area… nothing tastes like your flavours in our area.
Thank you!
(P.s.: Since we were MB clients, we got 10% off here!)
Real atmosphere. Service is great even when alot of people, they warn you if it takes longer when busy. The spices! Mmmm. Laghman spicy, oof, a delicacy but be warned its quite spicy!
Very good food, spicy noodles had a lot of flavour & their lamb is tender.
First of all, the hosts & their service are lovely & very sweet. Loved the food, the chicken rice noodle was very spicy & good
The atmosphere of the restaurant gives you a taste of the Uyghur culture which was very nice. Our young waiter was helpful & informative & handled everything quite well throughout the evening. The food he recommended was very tasty & the portions were just fine. The food wasn't too spicy & most of it had a good amount of sauce to dip the naan. However the latter was a bit underwhelming. I would have preferred having rice instead. I really enjoyed their noodles especially the large flat ones. They offered us green tea with goji berries which was quite nice. Very nice experience overall. I am happy to have had the occasion to get a taste of Xinjiang here in Brossard.
We came to Atlas Uyghur Restaurant on a Sunday for dinner. We arrived at 5:30 & ordered a Big Plate Chicken (large size), Lamb Qordak (large size), Lamb kebab (×2) & a Pilov all for takeout. The food took them a really long time to prepare. We were told 30 mins but even after 40 mins we checked in & it wasn't ready at 45 mins. Therefore, I recommend for takeout order from home ahead of time, & then come to pick up.
The food was absolutely delicious! The Lamb Qordak & Lamb Kebabs were our favourites. The Qordak was tender, slow-cooked lamb in a delicious curry that practically melted in our mouths. The stewed vegetables, too, were soft, savory, & soaking up all the luscious flavors from the curry base. This dish came with the Uyghur version of naan which was so tasty! The bread was soft & fluffy & it had nuts in it! The crunch kinda surprised us at first. The Lamb Kebabs were perfectly grilled, but yet the meat was juicy inside. Every bite was deeply satisfying.
We also loved the Pilov (forgot to take a picture), that reminded us of Indian & Pakistani pulao. It had a similar mix of fluffy rice, spices, & tender meat, all blended into a dish that was both hearty & mildly spicy.
The restaurant was decorated beautifully too & they had music playing in the background which was nice. We would definitely return, but we would dine in next time or order ahead of time.
If you're looking for something truly special, look no further than Atlas Uyghur Restaurant. This place delivers a culinary experience that is generous, soulful, & packed with flavour. I've been four times in just one month & I already know I'll be back again very soon.
The food is simply delicious. Every single dish is seasoned with care & clearly made by someone who knows exactly what they're doing. It's authentic, it's hearty, & it feels like it's coming straight from someone's home kitchen. There's nothing pretentious about it, just bold, comforting, & satisfying food.
The dumplings are incredibly generous. The lamb with rice pilaf is tender & rich in flavour. & the handmade noodles in the spicy sauce, I think it was with lamb, are honestly to die for. Everything is spiced to perfection & full of balance. I would recommend every single item on the menu without hesitation.
The atmosphere is charming. The space is cute & has this blend of Chinese & Arabic design that feels warm & unique. It's a family-run place & you can feel that in the service, in the way the dishes are plated, & in the overall energy. There's so much heart behind it.
It can be a little tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area, but it's worth the trip every time. There's plenty of parking & once you arrive, you'll be glad you came. The prices are also incredibly reasonable given the portions & quality.
Honestly, I have nothing negative to say. Atlas Uyghur is the kind of place that deserves to be known & celebrated. It's the kind of restaurant that reminds you why you love food.
It was a great experience, really good & authentic lamb skewers & spicy Uyghur food. Will come back for sure!
Nice ambience with traditional decorations. Halal, spicy dishes were really mouth watering
It was our first time trying Uyghur speciality. The food was flavourful & delicious. We went for the rice, Home style Tofu & spicy handpulled noodles. All were great, especially the tofu & the rice. Service was good. The food was served warm & was a generous portion. It was also very reasonably priced. We would defenitely come back!
Atlas Uyghur est incroyable!! This restaurant is so good. We had the Petit Manta (beef & lamb dumpling with an amazing slightly spicy & oh so flavorful dipping sauce), the lamb soup, & the lamb & naan stew - basically « lamb three ways », yet every dish felt new & exciting. Looking forward to come back & try other dishes.
Interesting food. Not too expensive, fried bread with spicy beef was the stand out. Interesting textures & flavors. Lots of chili & chili oil, great food overall service could be better.
Went for the second time & the food is sooooo goood . We had the chicken qorma, spicy beef tripe, spicy noodles, naan kebab, Qurghaq Chop & the cucumber with sesame sauce
One of the best Uyghur Restaurant around the world . Highly recommended Uyghur kebab , Spicy chicken , Legmen , .....
Appetizers were spicy, crunchy & delicious; lamb brochettes were juicy; fried noodles got wok hei which were really tasty; definitely worth to come again.
Service: The waitress was nice. The bathroom was clean. Service was somewhat slow.
Food: We got the non-spicy Leghmen with beef tripe (18$) & non-spicy Marjan chop (17$). They tasted somewhat similar, but both were delicious!
Atmosphere: We went on a Sunday, & it was very quiet, which we prefer. There were 2-4 tables occupied.
