The lagman noodles were prepared perfectly with just the right amount of chew & the spiced lamb skewers had such an incredible depth of flavor. It is not often you find a place that feels this authentic & welcoming at the same time. I will definitely be bringing my friends back here next week to try more of the menu.
I had such a wonderful experience at Atlas Restaurant. The Uyghur homestyle dishes instantly reminded me of the flavors from my home country, Kazakhstan-rich, comforting, & made with so much care. Every bite felt authentic & deeply satisfying. 😍 The atmosphere was welcoming & relaxed, making it easy to truly enjoy the meal. A special thank you to Mohammed, who provided excellent service-attentive, friendly, & genuinely kind. This place is a hidden gem, & I'll definitely be coming back.♥?
**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Absolute Best Uyghur Experience in Brossard - Atlas Uyghur Restaurant is a Hidden Gem!**
I just had one of the most memorable meals of my life at Atlas Uyghur Restaurant in Brossard (8050 Bd Taschereau). If you're anywhere near Brossard or the South Shore, stop what you're doing & go immediately. This place isn't just good, it's exceptional. Authentic Silk Road flavors that explode with taste: smoky, savory, perfectly spiced, with that true Uyghur heart in every single bite.
### The Star of the Show: Mohammed the Waiter
Mohammed is an absolute legend. Warm, super attentive, knowledgeable, & clearly passionate about the food & culture. He treated us like honored guests in his home, not just restaurant customers. He explained every dish with pride, checked in at all the right moments, & delivered service that turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience. Mohammed, if you see this, thank you brother. You're the soul of this restaurant. 👏
### The Food is Mind-Blowingly Authentic & Delicious
Everything we tried was cooked to perfection. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, & flavors that taste like they've been handed down for generations.
- **Lamb Kebabs (Kawaplar)**: Juicy, tender, beautifully charred lamb skewers bursting with cumin, chili, & classic Uyghur spices. Smoky, rich, & dangerously addictive.
- **Petr Manti (Steamed Manti)**: Delicate steamed dumplings with seasoned lamb & onions. The dough was perfectly thin, the filling juicy & flavorful. Some of the best manti I've ever tasted.
- **Samsa**: Flaky, golden baked pastries filled with spiced beef & onions. Crispy outside, savory & aromatic inside. These vanished instantly.
- **Pilov (Plov / Polo)**: The king of Uyghur rice dishes. Fragrant rice perfectly cooked with tender lamb, carrots, onions, & spices. Hearty, comforting, & each grain soaked in flavor.
- **Lagman**: Fresh hand-pulled noodles in a bold, spicy, umami-rich sauce with vegetables & meat. That signature chewy texture from the hand-pulled noodles made it outstanding.
- **Strawberry Drinks**: Refreshing, naturally sweet, & the perfect cooling contrast to all the bold spices. Light, fruity, & highly recommended.
Every dish was spot-on, authentic, generous, & made with real care. The spice balance, textures, & freshness were flawless.
The ambiance is cozy, welcoming, & family-friendly. Clean, 100% halal, & the portions give excellent value for the quality.
If you love bold Central Asian/Uyghur cuisine (or want to try it for the first time), Atlas Uyghur Restaurant in Brossard will blow you away. Ask for Mohammed, order the lamb kebabs, manti, samsa, pilov, lagman, & strawberry drinks. You will leave extremely happy & full.
This isn't just dinner. It's a wonderful cultural experience. 10/10. Easily one of the best restaurants on the South Shore. We'll be back again & again.
Highly recommended. Go now. Bring friends. Thank you Atlas team (especially Mohammed)! 🔥🍖🥟🍜
A very satisfied (& very full) custome
Authentic & delicious food paired with a truly unique atmosphere! The restaurant's decor adds a special charm to the dining experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more.
Atlas Uyghur Restaurant - Halal Chinese in Montreal, highly recommend!
We're from Ottawa & decided to visit Montreal for the Easter long weekend. One of my friends recommended Atlas Uyghur Restaurant because he knows I love Chinese food but only eat halal meat.
I ordered the sizzling beef with fried rice & it was absolutely delicious - the flavors & the sizzle brought me right back to my favorite hometown spot, Loon Tao.
The green tea with goji berries was also excellent - refreshing & a perfect finish.
The atmosphere is nice with traditional ornaments that give it a cozy, authentic feel.
What really stood out was Muhammad, the young son of the family that owns the restaurant. His hospitality & kindness were incredible - you can't put a price on that kind of warmth. He made us feel genuinely welcome.
I wish Muhammad & the family at Atlas Uyghur all the very best. I highly recommend this place not just for the food (which is excellent), but so everyone can experience Muhammad's warmth & kindness.
Went there with friends & had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, perfect if you're looking to try authentic Uyghur cuisine. The staff were also incredibly kind & welcoming. Highly recommend!
One of the best restaurants in Montreal. Authentic flavour with healthy options. The place is sparking clean & the family running it are very professional & welcoming. So glad we found it.
lamb skewers & naan kebab are pretty decent m, taste very authentic, just like in Xinjiang.
This was my first time trying a Xinjiang restaurant, & it was an amazing experience. A friend & I came here for lunch, & the restaurant is beautifully decorated with traditional cultural objects, which made the atmosphere feel very authentic & welcoming.
We ordered the milk tea, which was surprisingly salty but still tasted quite good. For food, we had the braised lamb, lamb skewers, & cucumber salad. The braised lamb was definitely our favorite - it comes with naan bread already soaked in the sauce. Personally, I might prefer having the bread on the side for dipping, but the flavors of the dish were excellent regardless.
Overall, a great introduction to Xinjiang cuisine, & I'd happily come back to try more dishes.
