Di Lallo Burger Original 1929 is a true Montreal staple. If you want an authentic, old school Montreal burger experience, this is definitely a place to try.

The burgers are so good. Simple, fresh, flavourful, & exactly what you want from a classic burger joint. The fries are great too, & you can't go wrong adding a poutine on the side.

What I really love is the atmosphere. It has that authentic neighbourhood restaurant feel that you just don't find everywhere anymore. They've been around since 1929, & you can really feel the history & character of the place.

A Montreal classic for a reason. Definitely worth visiting if you love a good burger & want to experience a piece of the city's history!

Interesting burgers. The patties are moist & crumbly. I assume they are kept hot & ready to serve on a steam table but they remind me more of meatloaf than a grilled beef patty. Tasty though.

I had a'buck burger' & a side of fries. The burger came with cheese, capicolo, tomato, onion & pickled Italian peppers on a steamed bun. It was delicious & fairly big. The fries were nothing special. They were hand cut, but not as crispy as they could be & with an unpleasant taste of burnt fryer oil. Maybe just my bad luck. Will give this place another try.

To me this is not food you order; I'd pick it up from the (former) St-Henri location because walking by would create the'want'. The'old timey' look is a plus; food decent for price, but I can't speak of'atmosphere'/service (so my average rating is not to upset the overall note).

Je commande chez Dilallo depuis 40 ans mais les 2 dernières fois j ai ete très très déçu ja cherchais la viande dans mon hamburger au prix que ça coûte 20.00 pour un hamburger & une frite !! Malheureusement je vais maintenant faire mes hamburger a la maison
