I don't understand why this place is rated so high.
I live nearby & tried their signature burger & a poutine about a year ago.
The fries were super dry, the burger not so tasty.

I decided to give them another shot, ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, which can't possibly be bad right? Well the bun felt really weird, almost sandy, & the burger was decent at best. I also had onion rings that were overcooked, & tasted like old oil & salt.

Both times I went the restaurant was completely empty, so the atmosphere is.. well quiet at least.

The service was ok. Not overly nice, but not bad either.

For the price, even mcD is a better choice.

I'm sorry guys, I'd love to come every week, but for me, that's just not it.

Di Lallo Burger Original 1929 is a true Montreal staple. If you want an authentic, old school Montreal burger experience, this is definitely a place to try.

The burgers are so good. Simple, fresh, flavourful, & exactly what you want from a classic burger joint. The fries are great too, & you can't go wrong adding a poutine on the side.

What I really love is the atmosphere. It has that authentic neighbourhood restaurant feel that you just don't find everywhere anymore. They've been around since 1929, & you can really feel the history & character of the place.

A Montreal classic for a reason. Definitely worth visiting if you love a good burger & want to experience a piece of the city's history!

Really great experience! The burgers were delicious, & the Buck Poutine is a must-try. The staff were super friendly, & the service was excellent. This was my first time dining in at this location (I've only done takeout at the Saint-Constant location before), & I really liked the atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

Sérieux pour le prix très décevant la poutine très très ordinaire une des pire du coin pas fromage frite moule & buck berger le capicole est inexistence c'était ma deuxième fois & ma dernière vive Normand patate pour 2 mini poutre & 2 buck berger & 1 coke plus 15/100 tip à serveuse 52$$$$ une vrai joke

The burgers are amazing here. I tried the double Buck, which was really juicy & left me feeling full. They add jalapenos, which gives it a nice little twist. I also had a normal poutine & it was okay.

Food isn't great nor terrible.

But it sure as hell isn't anywhere good enough to cost $28 for a medium poutine & a burger (& that's without tip)...

Best poutine hands down. I always make a point too visit when I come back. The burgers are incredible too.

Une institution à ville Emard apparement. La poutine n'était pas au niveau espéré. Frites molle , goût d'huile suspicieux, fromage fondu… faudra peut-être essayer les autres items du menu mais la poutine est overhyped ici.
