Dilallo Burger Original 1929 is described as a nostalgic standout where burgers are incredibly tasty, especially the Buck burger, often regarded as one of the best in town, with notes of a juicy double buck and a spicy jalapeno twist. The menu is praised for quality ingredients and a style that feels old timey and comforting, with fries and onion rings that fit the retro vibe. The atmosphere, service and cleanliness are frequently highlighted as positives, and staff are described as friendly and helpful; the place is remembered as an institution in Ville Emard. A few criticisms appear, including occasional order inaccuracies, burgers that are a bit greasy or overcooked, and price perceptions, as well as poutine or fries not always meeting expectations. Takeout experiences vary, with packaging and water service sometimes noted. Overall the restaurant offers a unique, heritage driven burger experience with consistently strong burgers and a lively, welcoming environment, though experiences can differ from visit to visit.
Ist time EVER when calling to place an order for delivery in English , was only spoken to in French. Then delivered & the drive only spoke French. If this is the case I will never order or go to your restaurant again.

If you are a foodie on a local eats quest, it's worth the trek out here to check out the OG location from 1929. Nearest Metro stop is Monk on the green (1) line & from there less than a 10 minute walk. Staff was friendly & super nice. The thing to get here is the famous Buck burger. I got the double Buck. Being served upside down just means you get the juicy patty side first when you chow down. Unbeatable first taste. Lots of historical artifacts & newspaper clippings around & merch for sale.
One of the most mediocre burgers I've ever had, not sure why all the rave reviews. Had the spicy burger & onion rings which were okay at best, the grilled chicken burger was horrible. Do not recommend, but prices were reasonable & service was good
Burger is great. I would recommend people try it. However, the price is what makes sure I do not go more often. I am still giving it five stars for the quality & taste alone.
