Incredible meal & enjoyed the variety of in-house brews
Stopped here after an afternoon wandering Little Italy & Plateau-Mont Royale. Excellent beers, cheese plate & service. We appreciated the interesting fermented beers & the vibes. Great brew pub experience.
On a visit to Montreal, tried this brew house 🏠 n recommendations of friends Superb atmosphere, very good selection of in house brews, food was fantastic . Went several times during our stay in the city
Some very good beer. The NEIPA was particularly good. The setting reminds me more of a crowded wine bar than a brewery & it was particularly busy & noisy when we went which took away from the atmosphere. Good selection of unique beers will ensure we will return
+++ Vast & varied selection of beers, most/all brewed directly in-house. +++ Good layout & seating ever since the 2023 renovation. +++ Passionate & knowledgeable staff. --- Pricey food offerings for the quantity. This place is a reference in the local microbrew industry, & with reason. There is every sort of beer for everyone, & all of utmost quality. When success is that disconcertingly easy, all one can say is: "S-Tier, rien à redire."
Good beer but the young barman (dark hair, glasses) working the bar on the pub side of the place had no clue how to pour a stout, which was surprising for a brewpub. After pouring me this monstrosity / joke (see photo!), I said nothing at the time not wanting to be annoying, but for the second one I asked him nicely if he could pour it so the head was around finger width, explaining that this was standard where I was from (Dublin - & this was listed as a "stout Irlandaise" so I figured I was not taking nonsense here). He did so & he said I should have told him the last one was badly poured. I said no problem not a big deal. (There were 8 people he was serving sat at the bar so I did wonder why he couldn't maybe look at the pint before he gave it to someone!) After 4 pints I had to leave & got the check. I tipped $4 thinking that was standard (as it is in NYC - a dollar a pint) & he told me passive-aggressively that "15% is normal, but ok". I would have preferred he just said thank you or nothing. Left a bad impression. I won't rush back. I do think the tipping culture is getting crazy. Getting a hard time for tipping $1 a pint across 4 pints sat at a bar, when the barman doesn't even know how to pour them!
In the gritty realm of craft brews, this microbrewery is an undisputed heavyweight. A solid 5/5 stars, because let's face it, their beer is a knockout. Each sip is a journey around the world of hops & malts, a symphony of flavors that transcends borders. From the first pour to the last drop, this microbrewery doesn't just brew beer; they craft liquid poetry. It's not just a local gem; it's a global beer pilgrimage. & at this microbrewery, you're not just feeling it-you're savoring a worldwide beer revolution. Cheers to the brews that redefine excellence! 🍻🌍
Really nice brewery! They have a lot of choice & the atmosphere just make me want to stay longer. Highly recommend!
Had beers & snacks here, was a cool vibe & great service! Not a huge food menu but that’s pretty standard for a brewery
