Cozy jazz bar with great atmosphere, a variety of engaging performers, good service, & delicious food. I go here regularly & usually get the cote de boeuf & absolutely savor it! The Latin night earlier in the week is really lively & they get traditional jazz performers on Friday & Saturday. On the weekend, it's best to make a reservation seeing as the place tends to fill up. You do this by leaving a message on an answering machine. They've always called me back to confirm & my place is always reserved when I get there, so the system obviously works. I'm glad to see this place thriving!
Arrived with a half hour to spare before 9:30 start but only single seats near the door available. So...reservations recommended even on a snowy bitter cold night. But it is the music that counts, & this club has proved itself as one of the best to hear live jazz indoors. Some seats partial view. Excellent Olde Fashion & house gin off the drink menu.
Coming here to check out the live music & I really enjoyed the experience overall. The drinks were about average prices (beers approx 7-10$ per pint) & about 7 taps available with a limited variety of food available which seemed to be more sharable plates. While I didn't have any food I cannot report on the quality of this directly. The ticket price for the live music was 15$ which is a bit on the higher end for local bands to perform for an hour of music. A nice change of scenery to enjoy overall but something to consider. Overall a good place to check out but for the pricing, drink selection or live music experience isn't anything particularly unique but the ambience & vibe is definitely great & highly suggested!

C'est un excelent resto de Jazz. Par contre, faites attention pendant une soirée Jazz car vous n'avez pas le droit de parler pendant la séance. Nous avions pas été prévenu de ça quand nous avions réservé. Nous étions nombreux & nous avons presque rien pu discuté entre amis ce soir.
Great jazz. One server for too many people. The food is overpriced & bland. Also, very stinky. But the music is good. Just have a drink & listen to the great music.
À Montréal, une des meilleures places pour vivre le jazz dans toute sa splendeur est sans aucun doute cet endroit. Son ambiance envoûtante, son service impeccable & tous les petits détails font de chaque visite une expérience mémorable. Je le recommande vivement à tous les amateurs de jazz & de blues en quête d'authenticité.
