Hit or miss, sometimes the meat is old & extremely dry, other times it's juicy & tender. Great when fresh, but he inconsistency is appalling. Service at dine in is always very bad; ignored for long periods of time, sometimes you wait & go ignored & then 15 mins after you ordered they tell you they've run out of brisket, other times it's old dry brisket. Beef ribs were dry like jerky, 0 tenderness
Je suis tombé sur ce restaurant en faisant une recherche sur le web. La réservation en ligne s'est très bien déroulée, sans embûches. Nous y sommes allés un samedi soir, bonne ambiance. Préférable de réserver à l'avance compte-tenu de la popularité de l'endroit. Nous aimerions avoir eu un service un peu plus rapide car un de nous devait aller travailler mais notre serveuse était très compréhensive, professionnelle & attentive. Nous avons commandé le plat de brisket, portion généreuse, sauce bbq très bonne. Plat à reprendre définitivement. ------------------------- I discovered this restaurant while searching online. The online reservation process was seamless & straightforward. We dined there on a Saturday evening, & the atmosphere was pleasant. Given the popularity of the establishment, I recommend making reservations in advance. We would have appreciated slightly faster service as one of our party needed to leave for work, but our waitress was very understanding, professional, & attentive. We ordered the brisket dish, which came with a generous portion & excellent BBQ sauce. It's a dish we'll definitely order again.
I wouldn't recommend ordering out. I placed a pickup order for their fried chicken & brisket on the side. I'll start with the most egregious thing: the brisket was disgusting. I have to assume they reserve bad batches for people who order out since this is reflected in other reviews. Fat was congealed on the side, it was chewy, salty, & dry. It looked like it had been left out for too long. I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Besides that, the box was placed sideways in the bag causing the sauce & beans to pool onto one side of the container. The cups they were in had lids but the heat in the container completely warped them. This meant that one of the pieces of chicken was soaked in bbq sauce, losing any other flavor. bbq sauce spilled all over my table when I opened it up. The only reason this is two stars is because of the unsauced chicken, which was decently yummy.
Brisket for sure. The pork ribs were fantastic too. Make sure to eat everything while it's hot. About 100-120 for two people with a drink
Nourriture exceptionnelle, nous avons prit le combo #5 avec cotes levées & briskey avec frites cajun & legume du moment (brocoli frit), c'était délectable. Le brisket fond dans la bouche & les côtes levés très bonnes avec la sauce BBQ. Nous avions aussi prit un extra morceau de poulet frit pour y gouter. Fine panure croustillante avec du poulet juteux pas sec du tout. Pour le prix, c'était environ 30$ par assiette + 4$ pour l'extra poulet. Tx & tip comprit m'a couté dans les 80$ pour 2 Bon service rapide, par contre ils devraient mettre un pichet d'eau sur les tables car nous avions des petits verres & nous avions terminé notre eau rapidement & j'ai du demander 3x de l'eau avant qu'ils reviennent nous en donner, mais sinon tout était parfait. C'est vraiment le meilleur BBQ à montréal
Poulet frits normal ☆610 , brisket se défait toute seul & gout super ,mais jaurais aimer ça que sa sois plus Juicy . ☆710 , poulet cuisse remplacer part le poulet porc effiloché vraiment bon fume woow ☆8/10 , côté levé porc super avec les 2 sauce BBQ fume 7.5 /10 Frits cajun normal ☆5/10 pain mai's rien de spécial ☆6/10. Salade chou 6/10 correct . Salade de pomme de terre 4/10 pas un fan lol . [ Le dixie] sans le porc effiloché. Servie rapide & courtois Overall ☆7/10 .
La viande était excellente. Je recommande de goûter le Beef Brisket en particulier, mais les autres morceaux de viande étaient très bons aussi! En tant que non-Américain, les portions nous paraissaient très grandes. Nous avons pris deux entrées, des frites & le menu Dixie (normalement pour deux personnes) & on a mangé à 5 dessus! Le service était aussi très plaisant, c'est un 5/5 amplement mérité, merci!
We ordered the smoked 1/4 chicken & brisket with coleslaw & broccoli (which was deep fried!). It was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. Great atmosphere & super friendly . Also to note, great portion sizes.
Phenomenal barbecue place. The brisket & the fried chicken were definitely the highlights. The atmosphere is very nice too. Overall would highly recommend if you're craving big portions & some smokey flavor!

There was a fair amount of foil still attached to the brisket, & the fall-off-the-bone ribs looked rather sparse. Service was very slow. Flavour was great
The beef ribs were way too dry & tough, i had to fight with the food🤪🤪. But the brisket was really good, I gotta say. If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends & have a few drinks, this is a good spot.
Overpriced, food was decent, but the brisket was a bit overcooked & unseasoned.

It's an okay place! Not amazing/mind-blowing BBQ, but its eatable. The pulled pork tasted find but was quite dry. Same complaint for the brisket from my friend. Fries were good but lacked a bit of salt. You'd expect to be served fries with a nice little sauce or some mayo but that didn't come with the plate (I don't know if you can request it). Coleslaw was plain. Service was nice & attentive though! I don't have any complaint about our waitress who was lovely.
Bourbon paradise! This place has a fantastic variety of smoked meats, like brisket, chicken, beef ribs & pork ribs. On top of that, the bar is stocked with super rare & popular bourdons like Blantons, Eagle Rare, Koval & many others. Highly recommended, especially the meat platter for 4.
I ordered takeout & is was meh. Now to give context I'm a long haul truck driver & spend most my time in the US & eaten lots of southern BBQ from small places on the side of a road. This place is not bad but a far cry from what you get south of the border. I was disappointed with the brisket & beef ribs. The portions were small & the meat dry. Mac's cheese was respectable & the corn bread was also on point. I would give it a try again a little earlier in the day maybe I caught them on a bad day or running at the end of what they had left.
