Although it's been opened for a week.. I gotta say it is a great restaurant! The pain doré is really good & the pancakes are just so filling! For myself its a good breakfast to go to. As for some who were waiting for a while to get seated.. keep in mind it is a soft opening & the kitchen crew are also leatning the system & they did a damn good job. I would say it was worth the wait to try the food. 10/10.

The food may as well had been motel breakfast. My eggs came out wrong, the toast was toasted on one side, the proteins came out a bit too soft.
The staff were very nice.
The kitchens seemed too overwhelmed for a soft open.
I can see how this restaurant is owned by the former owners of Jukebox's Burgers that had similar problems. Definitely would not recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance, the food (especially the tater tots & smoked salmon) were delicious, & our waitress Mayla was very attentive & knowledgeable. Great place, I'll definitely be back again! :)

The choices in the menu were pretty limited. No way of getting a plate with a usual eggs & pancake without paying an expensive extra, had to have a plate with just 4 pancakes, very little sauce, no fruits or nothing else.
I had the yolks classic which is eggs, meat & bread. There was very little eggs in the plate, almost not enough for 1 piece of bread, they taste good though. The breakfast potatoes or tater tots were not good, was eating more fried stuff than potatoes.
The kids menu was disappointing, needed to add a bunch of extras to have something decent.
In summary, you don't really get a bit of everything in your plate, you need to add a lot of extras. Also the filter coffee for 2$ extra to add felt cheap & too expensive.
Also, the bathrooms did not have any heating

UPDATE:
Went to Yolks for the 2nd time this week, on Saturday morning, & the food & service was on point!
This will be our new weekend spot.
I had the Tofu Scramble with Portabello Mushrooms & the breakfast potatoes. Bottomless Coffee. All delicious.

Went to Yolks DDO on Monday, on their opening day & had a great experience. The space is welcoming & the staff were fantastic. Loved seeing a true plant-based option on the menu without having to customize everything. I had the Tofu Scramble with a side of portobello mushrooms & tater tots, & it was all delicious. Oat milk for coffee is a great bonus. Wishing them lots of success! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a great experience I had here this week!
Food was delicious! I really enjoyed my salmon benedict & the fresh watermelon juice. My coworker also really enjoyed her spicy fried chicken sandwich. The atmosphere was great, really beautiful restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the service also - considering they just opened. I was served by a kind blonde waitress who was very attentive & knew the menu very well. We will definitely return with friends & family! 5 stars!

So good! Best birthday breakfast I've ever had:) Food quality is unlike anything in Montreal. So fresh & everything made from scratch! Try the Mimosas, so refreshing!
