Déjeuners Yolks Breakfast is widely regarded as an exceptional brunch destination in the West Island, praised for its fresh, high-quality ingredients, house-made condiments, and creative menu options like chicken and waffles, unique pancake stacks, and customizable Benedicts. Many visitors highlight the clean, modern, and cozy atmosphere, alongside service that is consistently described as professional, welcoming, and attentive. I loved discovering this new brunch place in the West Island. They have the best Benedict eggs for real they're not joking about their eggs! Runny & yummy! We were accommodated with our food & the service staff is very friendly! I felt that they listened to our concerns & the food ended up being AMAZING!

Excellent Benedicts cooked to your liking. I had the Salmon/Avacado/Arugula Benedict. It was perfectly balanced & topped with a delicious Hollandaise accentuated with fresh Dill.
The Ceasars were a little thicker than I prefer but still tasty. Although an extra green bean would not have hurt.

I was super excited to try out Yolks. The eggs Benedict was good but I wish there was more hollandaise sauce & the spinach was a little bit too wet for my liking. The tater tots were okay, as were my friend's lemon potatoes. Dominic provided friendly & professional service.

Food was very good. Best eggs Benedict in the city. Especially nice is that they do a gluten free version. Their hollandaise sauce is homemade & naturally gluten free. All the plates that came by looked really good: pancakes/wafflea, bowls, brunch burgers. Can't go wrong to brunch here.

went back in march for the first time since they opened. was super excited to try them out since I saw them on social media. their menu can be overwhelming at first as it was very compactly made & no photos in between. I found their dijon mustard sauce ruined the taste of the eggs Benedict & the skillet personally, as it was very powerful. ( i thought it would have been a minor taste). Their homemade ketchup was very good with the tater tots. For sure the star of the show is the cinnamon roll pancakes, were super yummy & came in a stack of five! I would go back just for the pancakes

I ordered the eggs Benedict with ham & got the lemon baked potatoes. The Dijon hollandaise sauce was not great. The Dijon was overpowering it completely & I do enjoy Dijon. The poached egg was great though & the ham was good. However the lemon potatoes was so lemony I got nothing from them but that sour flavour. Also the'fruit' consisted on 1 quarter slice of a tomato, a sliver of a pineapple & 3 grapes that weren't tasty...I mean I'm paying 20$ plus tax.. they could do better. Also very loud! Could barely here my mom & aunt. There were people in there but the music was way too loud.

Tried the new breakfast spot. The kids' breakfast was decent, nothing special but it did the job. Unfortunately, the egg Benedict didn't impress, & the burger was a letdown - it had a strong butane-like aftertaste that made it hard to enjoy. Inconsistency on how the potato were cooked husband got undercook potato mine were burned kids were ok. Overpriced orange juice. We ll definately not be returning

On Sat/Sundays, when it is sunny...Avoid going as a group. There was slow service bc the location was overbooked by reservations & there were clear signs of disorganisation at the reception, unforntunately.
Upon our arrival, small clusters of groups were waiting outside or inside the entrance despite having a reservation. The team seemed hesistant to clear out tables when previous families or groups were clearly finished eating, which understandably impacts service/tips or this might have been due to missing busboys.

Food wise: Eggs are soft & delicious considering the smaller portions, keep in mind that these eggs are all locally sourced but taste wise we had no complaints, as we could add our salt/pepper/butter/hot sauce ourselves.

The homemade hot sauces & ketchup are GREAT ( complementary to each dishes/needs). Yolks even offers tofu on their menu ( nice surprise) as an alternative for eggs, so everyone is welcome here! All the dishes were good except for the potatoes which were pure oil, their crispy Tots are much better. I recommend the Yolks Breakfast or Benedict your Way for their highly customisable. They use brioche buns for their sandwiches, huge plus! The sides are good too.
Pancakes are AMAZING, so fluffy will not disappoint, I suggest the fruity options with homemade Jam syrup. The cinnamon pancakes were loaded with sugar & pecans, no cinnamon detected yet satisfying regardless because of how pillowy the pancakes are! The stack of pancakes itself was heavily, if anything bring your own maple syrup 💕 As a group most people enjoyed their drinks but watch out for cross contamination Yolks, we were brought milk for our bottomless coffee in open mini containers. Thank you for the food, service during weekends will need to improve but we enjoyed the service from our server! We will come back during the week to fully take in the potential this breakfast restaurant has to offer when it is less busy before 9 am or after 1 pm. 6.9/10 until we return!
Thank you for your hospitality.
