Dans l'ensemble, Dawat est apprécié pour sa cuisine indienne fraîche et savoureuse, avec des notes Punjabi authentiques, où naan frais, samosas généreux, poulet au beurre et currys bien équilibrés guident le choix, et les plats à emporter ou en livraison restent fiables et délicieux. Un service chaleureux et attentif contribue à une ambiance familiale, même en période d'affluence, et la variété des plats, du tikka roll au biryani, montre la profondeur et le souci du détail. Les portions sont généreuses et le rapport qualité-prix est bon, et une réouverture récente près de chez soi permet de maintenir la même qualité et l'hospitalité. We recently ordered from Dawat for the first time & thoroughly enjoyed our food: palak paneer, Baingan Bharta, & naan. The two dishes were delicious, & the naan was soft & had that fresh from the tandoor taste. I haven't tasted naan this good since a favourite restaurant of mine, where they made it in the tandoor in front of the customer, closed down. We also appreciated that the food was packaged to avoid leaks & to keep the naan warm & soft. The price was also lower than other places we usually order from. We will definitely be ordering from Dawat again.

This is one of my favorite places to get food. I eat here once or twice a week, & it's always so good. The naan is freshly made & tender. The samosas are large & delicious, with abundant sauce on the side. The chicken has great flavor.

I've ordered takeout from here twice now & it's been fantastic both times. The food is always fresh, very flavorful, & you can tell the kitchen really knows what they're doing. Everything tastes authentic & well made.
I'm especially happy to have such a great Indian spot in the West Island-it's so nice to have something this good close to home.
My only small wish is that the meals automatically came with rice or naan when ordering. Aside from that, everything has been excellent & I'll definitely keep coming back!
Amazing Indian restaurant! The food was full of flavour - especially the butter chicken & fresh naan. Service was friendly & fast, & the staff gave great recommendations. The atmosphere was warm & cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend!
We ordered Uber Eats & we enjoyed an amazing dining experience with Dawat takeout. We ordered the Lamb Biryani, Garlic Naan, Chana Masala & potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious! The lamb Biryani was loaded with succulent pieces of lamb & with just the right amount of spice to keep it most enjoyable. The Chana Masala had just the right balance of spice & flavour not to mention it was overflowing with chickpeas. The garlic Naan was fresh, flavourful & a perfect accompaniment to the Chana Masala. In the end, as hard as it is to believe, there was just enough leftover Biryani for lunch the next day. I finished this off with ease & I cannot recommend Dawat enough if you're looking for a truly satisfying meal. Thank you Dawat!
I stopped by this place hoping for a flavorful Indian meal, but unfortunately, it was a mixed bag. Aloo Gobi was very oily - I mean, I like a good sauce as much as the next person, but this was like drowning in it. Paneer Tikka Masala was just average, nothing special to write home about. & Naan was a letdown, dry & chewy instead of soft & fluffy. Overall, it was an average experience. Stay away from this restaurant unless you like oily messy food.
Butter Chicken is Great here! Nice little place for takeout with a few a seats, & a very simple menu full of great tasting food at moderate prices. Basically, they serve lamb, butter chicken, tandori chicken, etc.. & you can choose to have it three (3) ways, wrap, combo, or on rice. Price depends on which way you want it. This place is LONG awaited for result of a caterer (I cant spell) finally opened a mini restaurant in front of the kitchens. So, the food is very yummy, & they are willing to adjust to how hot you like it. Good Fluffy naan bread. This is a mini-strip mall, so parking is free, just a bit limited. This mall is handy for getting supper, as it includes a pizza place, & a dep. to grab milk on the way home, so everyone is happy.
Such an AMAZING experience!! The most deliciousssss Indian food in town - the butter chicken & naan are to diiie for!!! 🤩🤩🤩 RJ & the staff are truly so kind & generous, amazing customer service experience, your feel very welcomed into their home away from home We will be back very soon!!
