Notre mission; vous offrir la meilleure qualité de nourriture à un prix des plus abordables. Comment y arrivons-nous? En éliminant les coûts non nécessaire et en achetant en gros, on vous promet que chaque dollars investit au Dawat en vaudra la peine, car nous savons très bien que tous travaillent fort pour leur gagne-pain!

Dawat est souvent salué pour ses plats savoureux et authentiques, avec des saveurs Punjabi riches et des portions généreuses, le butter chicken et le naan frais étant les incontournables et la mangue lassi restant particulièrement rafraîchissante. Le service est chaleureux et attentionné, l'atmosphère est cosy et conviviale, idéale pour un repas détendu et aussi pratique pour les commandes à emporter ou en livraison. C'est un lieu familial apprécié comme une halte gourmande dans l'Ouest de l'île, où l'équipe rend chaque passage agréable et où les plats semblent faits maison. Après la réouverture suite à l'incendie, Dawat a été perçu comme plus fort et continue d'offrir une expérience culinaire de qualité, avec des plats préparés avec soin et des saveurs bien équilibrées. Dans l'ensemble, les avis recommandent Dawat pour sa cuisine savoureuse, son rapport qualité-prix et sa capacité à donner à chaque plat une impression faite maison, tout en espérant quelques améliorations ponctuelles dans le service.
Tried this place by recommendation, butter chicken, chicken curry rice,spinach chicken dish, roti,sorry don't recall the proper name of the dishes. Option for spice ,I asked mild. The curry dish was way way to spicy but that could have been my mistake. Lol .delicious, everything was so good.
This maybe my go to now for Indian.

This restaurant has generally been reliable in the past, but our recent experience was quite disappointing due to poor order management.
We placed a large order for 10 people over the phone at 6:00 PM & arrived for pickup at 7:45 PM. Upon arrival, we were initially handed someone else's order. Fortunately, we checked before leaving. At that point, the staff realized that our order had not been prepared at all, despite the advance notice. We were asked to wait another 15 minutes & to repeat the order, but ultimately waited close to 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, the issues didn't end there. When we got home, we discovered that one item-a vegetable curry (Paneer Tikka Masala)-was missing. When we called back, we were told it hadn't been noted. Additionally, because the food was prepared in a rush, the veg biryani was essentially fried rice with paneer & did not meet the usual quality or standard.
This created an extremely uncomfortable & embarrassing situation, especially since we had guests waiting for dinner. Delays, missing items, & compromised quality significantly impacted the experience.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously & improves order handling & verification, especially for large or advance orders. I strongly recommend that customers check their orders carefully before leaving the restaurant.

Highly recommend Dawat you cannot go wrong with perfectly seasoned lamb curry biryani spicy & finger licking good chicken sheik kababs. Good cooking at fair prices. Can't wait till my next craving.
Exceptional Service & Delightful Indian Cuisine at Dawat I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dawat in Montreal, & I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. One of the standout aspects of our visit was the incredibly swift service. We were in a bit of a hurry, & the staff at Dawat went above & beyond to accommodate us, managing to serve our entire order within just 10 minutes. While I'm sure such rapid service may not always be the norm, it certainly left a lasting impression on us. Now, onto the food-each dish was nothing short of perfection. We started with the fish pakora, which was an absolute delight. The pakoras had the perfect amount of crunch, & the accompanying chutney was a flavor-packed complement that elevated the dish. The mutton curry was another highlight of the meal. The mutton was cooked to tender perfection, with the rich, aromatic gravy infusing every bite with deep, satisfying flavors. It's clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation of their curries, as the depth of flavor was truly remarkable. The dal makhani was just as impressive. It was creamy, well-seasoned, & had the comforting, hearty taste you'd expect from this classic dish. The palak paneer was another winner; the paneer was soft & fresh, while the spinach gravy was flavorful & well-balanced. Every dish we ordered was outstanding, showcasing the authentic flavors of Indian cuisine with precision & care. From start to finish, our experience at Dawat was top-notch, & I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious Indian meal in Montreal.
Dawat is absolutely amazing ! 🥰The service is fantastic, the staff are the sweetest, their food truly is authentic food from India & yes they do speak Hindi 🇮🇳 since the owners & the staff are from there ! The ambiance is cute & nice & you get a welcoming feeling ! I highly recommend this place! My favorite foods from this restaurant definitely has to be the lamb curry, the palak paneer, chicken tikka, tandoori chicken & the samosas! By the way, they serve good portions! 👍

The clients had better sense of hospitality then the restaurant itself, we order butter chicken, lame curry & tandoori chicken even though they charged us full price we received no rice no vegetables & charged us for the bread , the most expensive I found was the mango yogurt 4$ a cup , yes I agree it was delicious mango/yogurt . Personally I won't go back there & the taste of food at spicebros was much better to my taste .
