This place is popular & for good reason. Our Server was genuinely personable. The service was fast & the food was phenomenal. 5 stars, would highly recommend!Voir plus
Went for lunch, service was very quick & the food was yummyVoir plus
Amazing place for a brunch but you'll definitely have to wait as there is typically a line, which speaks for the quality & service they provide. Both the food & service we received was amazing. We went here on a recommendation from friends while visiting & we see why everyone raves about it! One of the best brunch spots in Montreal.Voir plus
Lovely space, great service, & delicious food.Voir plus
Nice spot. Good coffee. Unfortunately a bit inflexible as they do not offer the option to exchange anything in the dish, if you have an allergy.Voir plus
One of the best chicken sandwiches in town, don't miss the chance of trying it even if it is going to be a bit messy.Voir plus
First impressions: we were 2 people & arrived on a Monday at 11:30 am & saw about 7 or 8 groups ahead of us in line. We were expecting a 1 hour wait & would have been fine with that (we even brought out books to read in line). Nice surprise to see we got seated within 15 minutes. Service: waiter was very friendly & quick & came back several times to refill waters, even during the lunch rush. It took about 40 minutes to get our food after ordering, but again it was the lunch rush Drinks: my wife's $7.00 orange juice tasted suspiciously Tropicana (boo!), but my maple latte was great. Very sweet & tasted more like maple candies than maple syrup. Got an Americano after that which was nice. Food: started with the Chicken sandwich, which was huge & delicious. Fried chicken thighs (not breast) on a fluffy brioche with a herby creamy sauce on a bed of slaw that included granny smith apple. We cut it in half & shared. We added a side of fingerling potatoes which were crunchy & well seasoned with herbs & salt. Came with a side of garlic sauce, & went well together with the sandwich. Last we had the stack of pancakes which remained warm by the time we got to it. The pancakes were dense (not as fluffy as Arthur's) but intentionally so I think. The pool of maple butter at the bottom was awesome & did not get sponged into the bottom pancake. Came with lemon infused mascarpone on the side, which added some bitter to offset the sweet. I liked it, but my wife could have done without (but she still didn't give me her portion!) Overall was a great experience & would return to see what else Dandys has to offer!
A restaurant to SKIP if you're looking for a lunch spot. Food: overpriced, nothing special. Pasta was mid & the shrimp coquette tasted like pre-made grocery store food. Ricotta pancakes are the only worth while menu item. Service: As another reviewer mentioned, the wait for food is >15 minutes. This is excessive. Atmosphere: good looking interior, seating is decent.Voir plus
Fantastic brunch, very attentive service despite being a very busy spot.Thoroughly enjoyed the food & a very cool vibe. Summer breakfast with avocado & bacon was very much on point.Voir plus
Memorable brunch. Be prepared for a wait in line.Voir plus
Had the pasta & it DELICIOUS. Not too salty, had the bits of pork that livened it up. Love the atmosphere. Didn't wait long to get in at 1230pm. GO HERE.Voir plus
Had the summer breakfast & it was very very tasty. Smashed potatoes & granola bowl were extremely good. Only problem, had to wait in line for 1.5 hours for a Saturday brunch.Voir plus
Sept 2024 -Didnt like it. ordered chicken sandwich, ricotta pancake & breakfast avocado toast. All were OK. Food is overrated. Ambiance is good though. Coffee was OK too.Voir plus
A friend told me about this place & it did not disappoint! Super convenient because it was close to our hotel. There is seating indoors & outdoors, & when we came on a Thursday afternoon we did not have to wait long. Many people checked on us & we were very well taken care of. My mom & I shared the endless summer breakfast & she loved it so much that she's going to try & make it at home! Really tasty ingredients that were fresh & healthy. I also had an iced maple latte which was really good! If we have more time I will come back & try the ricotta pancakes because they looked amazing & it seemed like there was one on every table!Voir plus
We had the everytime summer breakfast, the chicken sandwich with potatoe sides & Peach-Ginger-Icetea - everything was really delicious. The service was friendly & courteous, but it was really noisy.Voir plus
