This has always been my go-to KBBQ place. I've been going to the original location ever since they opened & the experience has been very consistent over the years. The new location is the same (if not better), with less waiting times. I also found out that it's Halal so it's a big plus for such an authentic KBBQ restaurant. The vibe is always immaculate, the service can be slow at times but understandable as it gets really hectic depending on the day of the week. It's great for big groups or between friends. I just love this place so much & will always go back. Thank you Daldongnae team for all your hard work! 🙏🏻
Personne nous a avisé que nous avions 2h pour le repas. À la fin nous avons commandé notre dessert pour nous faire dire que nous devions quitter. Si le personnel était venu nous voir pour enlever les plats à la fin de notre repas & qu'on nous aurait avisé lors de la réservation & au début du repas que nous avions 2h, l'expérience aurait fini mieux ! Dommage car le tout c'est terminé sur une note négative. Par contre, la nourriture était excellente !
My first time eating here was on March 26th & I had the pleasure of dining with my Korean friend. My friend explained the meaning of the name & interior features which make this restaurant quite special. The choice of meats is outstanding & the cuts were authentic Korean. The meal was great as was the service. It was a fun experience that can be enjoyed at any pace. The server was very helpful with ensuring my gluten allergy didn't get me into trouble. We were not rushed & were allowed plenty of time to enjoy the classic Chamisul soju. I highly recommend Daldongnae & look forward to returning soon.
C'était une première expérience de BBQ coréen pour moi & j'ai adoré ! Il y a une assiette végétarienne que je vous mets au défi de terminer. Nous avons tous passé un excellent moment. Les à-côtés (à volonté) sont très bons surtout le mais au fromage.
Being Korean, I can say the food is 100% authentic Korean, & the meat quality is amazing. Even with a late reservation, all the servers were super friendly & attentive. I didn't get their names, but the manager & the Korean male server were also very kind. I will definitely be coming back, & honestly, this might be the best Korean BBQ in Montreal!

Worst management team ever.
We came at 6:05, as soon as we finished the food, bill came, & they wanted us out. The policy clearly says 2 hours. At 7:30 they started kicking us out. I told him to split my bill, he said i dont have time we have people. Then i said 10 mins ill leave, he said your blacklisted
Great atmosphere & experience with the Korean BBQ. It would be really helpful to receive a bit more guidance on how to go about using the BBQ, what exactly were the dishes served & what was included or not with our choices, in general a bit more attentive service.
