One of the best dining experience ever. We took a pork dish & a vegan dish, we are not vegan but that plate is significantly bigger than the meat dish, it has tofu, vegan sausages, different veggies & different mushrooms, we shared everything with a side of rice & we were stuffed. Everything was very flavorful & the service was excellent. Good food quantity for the price! Highly recommend!
Not as good as it used to be. The corn did not have enough cheese. The stew & glass noodle salad both super salty. The beef slices we ordered had some dark/black spots. Not fresh?
Service was ok.
If you like meat & barbecue, you have to try this place. Be sure to take full advantage of the endless, complimentary yummy small korean side dishes-they're a fantastic!
Expérience décevante pour un Korean BBQ que je considère overrated.
Le service était lent & manquait clairement d'attention - j'avais même l'impression de déranger le personnel à chaque demande, ce qui gâche l'ambiance & l'expérience client.
De plus, le rapport qualité-quantité-prix n'est pas au rendez-vous : les portions sont limitées par rapport au prix demandé, ce qui donne l'impression de payer beaucoup pour très peu.
En résumé : ambiance moyenne, service peu accueillant & prix trop élevés pour ce que l'on reçoit. Définitivement pas à la hauteur de sa réputation.

Great unassuming KBBQ spot! The meats were very good, delicious & tender. Also arrives with an amazing assortment of accoutrements! Price is somewhat on the high side but quality is very good.
Very authentic Korean bbq in Montreal. Good spread of side dishes & meat options. Staff were kind but very busy, could've used a few more people or better system. Highly recommend!
Easily my favorite KBBQ spot. Daldongnae is always such a great experience, the food is consistently amazing every single time.
This visit, the staff were super attentive! Multiple people checked in on our table & when I accidentally dropped my chopsticks, one of the servers noticed before I even did & brought me a new pair right away. The service really stood out this time. Thank you!
Extremely efficient staff, was surprised how fast our food got to us. Was busy during the time we were there, but that made it even more surprising. Well done staff!

We ordered the Pork Belly & the Beef Tenderloi for the meat & the beef bimbimbap to share. The bbq comes with egg, kimchi, garlic slices, & cheese corn. (Remember: you can only refill egg & cheese corn when you still have meat on the grill) For the pork, it comes with three thick slices, very delicious! However, beef tenderloin was ok… it was very chewy & it gets burnt pretty quickly. It didn't have much flavour too. It's not as tender as it describes on the online menue, & I don't really recommend the beef tenderloin. The bimbimbap was really good, the portion was perfect for two people. Highly recommended!
P.S. when we were eating, there was a line up. I understand that they've been waiting for a long time, but the servers kept asking whether we are done eating & whether they should take the plates, even when there were still bimbimbap in the bowl. It was quite disturbing because they already told us that we get a maximum of two hours dining time which we were aware. Overall we just felt rushed.
The food was absolutely amazing - every dish was delicious & beautifully presented. Our server, Akina, made the experience even better! She was incredibly sweet, attentive, & so beautiful. She made us feel so welcome & taken care of the entire time. We really enjoyed our visit & can't wait to come back again soon! ☺?
Compared to similar bbq restaurants, it has the advantage of having à la carte menu even in the weekend (rather than all you can eat). But it is also a bit expensive ($30 for short rib?). The portions are perfectly enough, particularly because so many side dishes they being (which are very tasty).
The only negative point was the lack of salt & pepper at the table.

It has become a tradition when I'm in Montreal for work myself & a coworker end up at this location every year, & every year we introduce new people to Korean BBQ from this place. It's fantastic along with the location in Mississauga.
Excellent time at Daldongnae! Great food & the staff was wonderful. 10/10 would do it again. Be careful though the egg will melt your face if you're not careful, it's like lava straight off the grill.
Great place to eat at with unlimited side dishes like kimchi, eggs, corn cheese, fermented bean sprouts, fermented cucumber, glass noodles, mash potatoes, soup... We ordered meats & veggies to gril on the BBQ & came out of the restaurant overstuffed & happy. Price is reasonable & the food's amazing 😍
