Situé dans une somptueuse résidence du 19ième siècle, Ristorante Da Vinci allie à la fois le charme et la convivialité italienne à l'élégance sans prétention.
Soucieux du moindre détail, de l'escalier en bois d'acajou aux boiseries et hauts plafonds; des cheminées d'époque aux salons privés, des alléchantes vitrines au cellier, Ristorante Da Vinci constitue un véritable festin pour les yeux comme pour le palais.
Pour agrémenter votre repas, une liste de vins provenant des 20 régions de l'Italie vous est proposée. Avant de passer au dessert, on vous apporte des noix de Grenoble pour accompagner le vin. Puis, c'est le moment des douceurs classiques italiennes ou de quelques nouveautés telles que le duo de mousse glacée au chocolat noir et amaretto !

Ristorante DaVinci in Montreal stands as the city's finest Italian restaurant since 1960, & it continues to uphold its legacy in the heart of downtown's Golden Square Mile. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were transported into an atmosphere of sheer elegance. The refined décor & warm lighting immediately set the stage for what was to come-a culinary journey that exceeded all expectations. The creative presentations were nothing short of art. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, not only in flavor but in visual appeal. The fresh ingredients shone in every bite, blending traditional Italian flavors with modern techniques that left us in awe. From antipasti to dolce, the menu reflected a perfect balance of authenticity & innovation. The service was impeccable & truly made the evening special. The staff treated us as though we were family, attending to every detail with genuine warmth & care. Whether it was their expert recommendations or the personal touches they added throughout the meal, we felt valued & welcomed in a way that is rare. The bar & lounge offered a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for starting or concluding the night with a cocktail or glass of fine wine. It was the perfect complement to the dining experience, adding to the restaurant's overall charm. This restaurant was everything a restaurant should be. The staff & owner (Lav) friendly, welcoming (with everyone who walked in) the restaurant has been around for a long time & Lav is ready to share stories upon your asking (which I did). The food was well presented & tasted every bit as good as it looked. We appreciated the look & the taste so much - totally forgot pics. What put this restaurant over the top was when I couldn't decide between 2 desserts so they gave me both & one being compliments of the house. The vibe in the place says family & anyone who walks in is a part of it. I can't recommend enough & is now on my must visit when in Montreal.Voir plus

My husband & I dined here for our anniversary as family gifted us with gift cards. It is a quaint little restaurant in the heart of downtown. The food was very tasty, the presentation was very pretty, the portions were good, the service was fast & efficient (although the attention we received was overkill - the waiter, although very kind, checked in on us literally every 5 minutes) We were disappointed with the risotto as we expected a thicker consistency, but it was too'soupy' in our humble opinion. The resto serves the cutest complimentary appetizer (first picture- we were 2 so there were 2 of each item). I do recommend if you don't mind spending $$ as the food is excellent, however, the prices are over what I am willing to spend for dining out & so would not return (A bottle of Perrier is $12, my 3 shrimp appetizer is $48, etc)Voir plus

OK so having Italian roots I don't normally go to Italian places because I'm always disappointed in the food & I always think homemade is better but this place is out of this world! Is it pricey?Quite a bit , yes but the vibe is immaculate. The overall charm of this place is Simply splendid the owner of the place is super nice & Vincenzo has my heart, always gives me the best service ever. The food itself is simply amazing. The lamb chops are juicy, & the grilled octopus is simply to die for, I tried many of their dish , & they are all simply amazing, especially their lobster risotto & the ragu di agnello! I have to say I wanted to try this place for a longtime. I have to say I was quite disappointed from arrival to departure From Valet service upon arrival not present The menu is ok but very pricey for what you get. I feel this restaurant has got stuck in the early 2000's & hasn't evolved Plan for 100$+ / head & a 30$ Valet To top it all off had to wait for the valet employee to finish praying to get our car ....Voir plus

Have had the pleasure of dining at Da Vinci's in an intimate, small group & large group settings. All were fun, felt well taken care of & great suggestions on food & wine were appreciated. La déception était palpable dès l'entrée, avec une portion de crevettes "à la da Vinci", dans une sauce cocktail ordinaire... Les pâtes au homard & safran manquaient de saveur & de générosité, tandis que les pâtes aux fruits de mer, le homard semblaient avoir subi un traitement au micro-ondes le rendant trop cuit. Pour un établissement de renom, l'expérience culinaire était bien en deçà des attentes. Même à un prix réduit, il aurait été difficile d'être impressionné par cette prestation. Le service impeccable est un point positif, mais quand il s'agit de séduire nos papilles, l'expérience culinaire laisse vraiment à désirer. Il est regrettable que même un service exceptionnel ne puisse compenser les lacunes dans la qualité des plats.
