Usually you can't go wrong with Thai food ... but the papaya salad had a very strong fishy taste (beyond just the usual fish sauce), perhaps too many dried shrimps in it. We had meatballs, sausage, fried rice & the chicken satay skewers. Not too bad, but some of the dishes were salty.
Service was okay, nothing exceptional. But most upsetting is the non-compliance to the new Bill 72. The 15% tipping option was off the bottom line & not the'before tax'. Only realized after we walked out from looking at the bill because you barely have time to check the pinpad while its waiting for the payment card to be tapped. Had high expectations, but likely not returning.
Best Thai food I've ever had with delicious & creative drinks. The owners are so kind & all of the wait staff were so pleasant. Highly recommend you stop by for a drink & meal!
We are visiting from the DC area & came here for dinner because it looked like it had a great atmosphere. The food & service was amazing! We were here for trivia on Sunday night & they were willing to translate for us to be able to participate.
We had the Pork Belly special with bok choy, Pad Thai, & Stir Fried Pork. We also had the Sticky Rice, which had the mango in the shape of a flower. It was some of the best Thai food that we have ever had. The cocktails were really good as well.
We would highly recommend this restaurant. The owner & staff were all very friendly & welcoming.

Samedi soir, mon palais a vécu une révélation culinaire. Une stupéfiante surprise. Des saveurs thaïlandaises d'une finesse inédite, sublimées par des associations parfaitement maîtrisées. Chaque bouchée était un voyage : des notes exotiques qui s'entrelacent, s'équilibrent & se répondent avec une justesse remarquable.
Les viandes, tendres à souhait, étaient sublimées par des marinades & des sauces aux arômes envoûtants, chacune apportant sa touche unique & raffinée. Impossible de départager laquelle surpassait les autres tant elles étaient exquises.
Le service, quant à lui, a été irréprochable : attentif, juste & parfaitement connaisseur du menu.
&, côté cocktails ? Audacieux, recherché, raffinés… une véritable signature qui complète cette expérience hors du commun. Vraiment.
Un immense bravo & merci pour cette soirée mémorable. Wow… tout simplement.
Mais quelle belle découverte!! Je ne m'attendais pas à un goût aussi raffiné. On voyage en plein coeur de la Thaïlande. La recherche de la balance des saveurs est incroyable. Même chose pour les cocktails! Enfin des drinks qui sortent de l'ordinaire. L'ambiance est chill, on a envie d'y passer la soirée. & le serveur est super gentil & attentionné! 😉

Authentique cuisine de la Thaïlande absolument délicieuse, version tapas & cocktail goyave curry coco. Nous avons mangé à ne plus pouvoir sans se ruiner, le rêve 🥳🤩
Authentic Thai food. Ying, the chef, is available to talk about her plates. Service provides informative advice about the various plates on the menu. Price is reasonable. 👍
Nous sommes tombé sur ce restaurant par hasard & avons été agréablement surpris. Les employés sont très sympathiques, & nous avons pu discuter un peu avec la cheffe thaïlandaise. Très bonne nourriture, & les plats en tapas nous permettent bien de partager & essayer plusieurs choses. Les cocktails sont très originaux! Parfois délicieux, parfois étrange!!! Qualité-prix vraiment super.
Nouveau resto thaï qui apporte de la fraîcheur à Montréal par la qualité de ses plats & leur originalité qu'on ne trouve pas ailleurs. Formule "tapas", on trouve une belle variété. Nos coups de coeur: Bédaine de porc croustillant & la pizza. À essayer sans faute.

Came here for MTL a table, nice menu. Pad Thai - decent! Crispy pork belly - great but the star was the sauce for this. Homemade sausage - okay. Papaya salad was tough & under seasoned. Century egg with mango was delish but also under seasoned. Would come back.
Great Thai street food at affordable prices. Feels very authentic; I loved their Pad Thai. Great service, team has awesome vibes. I strongly recommend!

Service rafraîchissant. Juste la bonne dose d'interaction. On a adoré le service & beaucoup rigolé avec notre serveur. Les plats sont généreux. Bien exécuté. Le menu dans le cadre de Montréal À Table est varié & l'accord vins impeccable. Mon coup de coeur leur thé glacé thaï. Les deux versions.
Five stars don't even do this store justice. I have had Thai food in other highly rated places in New York & Calgary, yet they all seem to fall short of the experience at CupMTL. During our time there, we got introduced to almost everyone working there from the owner to the bartender. We had a lot of fun talking to them, & they went out of their way to gift us with shots & Chef special dessert. For the food we ordered, we enjoyed every bite of them. More importantly the prices were more than reasonable. $32 for a whole seabass?!! Yes, that's the price range we were talking about here. I'm definitely coming back in the near future.
CUP MTL is the spot to BE! My siblings & I came here for dinner with a friend on our last day visiting Montréal. They were a vibe! Food was top tier! Anything you order will make you feel satisfied. What we ordered: fried chicken which was fried & flavored to perfection; Shrimp Pad Thai had perfect sweetness & shrimp was great texture. Curry noodle soup was so flavorful! Sea bass soft & delicious. The owners were so sweet & welcoming. The chef was so sweet, you will love her!!! Very authentic Thai restaurant. You won't forget your experience here. Go!!
Feels more like a bar than a restaurant, with a hint of stale beer lingering & dim lighting that made it hard to see. I had to use my phone's flashlight to read the menu. We were excited to try this Thai pub, but the main dishes-chicken curry & pork belly-At $25 & $28, were pricey for what came as small portions & nothing particularly memorable. No ustensiles served we had to dig into a pot on the table to find forks & spoon ( no knifes). Luckily, the tapas section saved the night As we were still starving we ordered Satays & a Poutine: At $10, they offered similar portion sizes without the rice & cucomber slices & were much better value. Drinks were also well-priced & a good deal. Overall, I'd say skip the mains, go for drinks & tapas instead!
Nice patio during the summer on the corner of Saint-Denis & Duluth. Tapas-style is great : highly recommend the shrimp wontons & the pork belly, but I wouldn't expect to have a big dinner here. For example, the pad thai was bland, & the papaya salad was quite watery. Otherwise, the cocktails were delish, & I enjoy coming here for a quick snack / little bites.
