Reviews consistently praise Cuisine Auntdai for authentic Chinese cuisine, with many noting flavorful, well-seasoned dishes and generous portions that are great for sharing or taking home. The dining experience is described as warm and welcoming, thanks to attentive hosts and a friendly staff, and the atmosphere is often called cozy and relaxing with decor that includes a bookshelf and tasteful touches. Value stands out, with affordable prices and big portions making it a top choice for groups. Some reviewers mention occasional downsides, such as a few dishes feeling a bit oily or not as spicy as hoped, and the space can feel tight for large parties, with delivery options sometimes missing certain items. Overall, Cuisine Auntdai is viewed as a reliable, beloved option for traditional Sichuan and authentic Chinese cuisine in Montreal, earning frequent return visits and broad recommendations.
we like this restaurant very much, very traditional sichuan restaurant. first time we visited is in 2016, & now is 2025, we visited aunt dai again, still like their food
We had the sweet & spicy tofu, seasonal mixed vegetables in garlic sauce, & hot & sour soup. All were excellent. Large portions. Owner came by & shared their story. We will go back.
I have been probably 50 times at Aunt Dai. I never get tired of coming back. My wife lives it, my kids love it. The food is just too good: fresh & tasty. Highly recommended to anyone searching for Chinese cuisine in town

Ordered through DoorDash for the first time yesterday & was really impressed with the quality!
I don't usually go for veggie dishes, but they absolutely nailed every single one-especially the eggplant with potatoes, which became an instant favorite.
One note: I was hoping to try the fried pork after seeing so many great reviews, but it wasn't available on the delivery app. Not sure if that's intentional or just temporary, but since I rarely get to go downtown, I'd love to see it added to the delivery menu sometime soon!
Do yourself a favor & come here to eat anytime you have a chance! This place is absolutely amazing, has super delicious food & it's sooo cheap, the price is literally unbeatable! The portions are big & filling, delicious, & you can take it home if you accidentally ordered too much! The fried Cantonese noodles are amazing, as well as the pork belly.

Food was OK. I think it's on the oily side & I know what chinese food, especially Szechuan is as I travel to Chengdu quite often. Lacking spiciness as well & I did pick the spicier dishes.
