We came here with a big group of 20+ people, & everything was organized so well. The staff set up all the tables nicely before we arrived. The food was delicious & perfect for sharing with a big group. Service was super fast & friendly; even with 20 people, the first dishes came out in about 15 minutes, & then new hot dishes kept coming every 5-10 minutes. Everything was fresh, tasty, & hot. Prices are also very affordable for group dining. If you're planning to host a group party, I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that the room is quite small & cozy, so it can feel a bit tight when the group is large. Overall, totally worth it!
Excellent food, large portions. Highly recommend! Great & friendly service. The restaurant can accommodate large groups too.
The food is delicious, portions are really big & affordable! Strongly recommend.
Ordered the crispy fish & side of steamed rice. Both were very tasty. The fish had szechuan pepper spice & the was a bit fatty so you have a rich flavor. The rice was very well prepared & sticky. The price was ok - about $22. & the portion was also ok. I got full so it was good. I can recommend the spot as a quick lunch & it's possible, if not super hungry or big eater to split a main dish & rice with another.
This food was sooooo good!! Truly exceptional!! Nuanced & complex flavour profiles, cooked to perfection. Service was super friendly & helpful, too. Loved the vibe in there, excellent chandeliers & decor! Loved the poetic & comical detailed food descriptions in menu. 10/10 recommend!
We loved everything about this meal. Walked in & immediately seated for a week day lunch. We ordered pork belly, beef & broccoli, salt & pepper fish, & beef sautay. The food was so tasty, we will recommend to everyone. Feigang Fei (owner) was personable & made great food recommendations. Lovely overall experience.
Super traditional & Delicious food, & the owner was super nice!!
The place was super cute as well. I recommend.
Food, service & atmosphere were great. Will definitely return & recommend to friends.
Delicious food, great service, & calming atmosphere. Got a chance to speak to the owner-kind & super thoughtful. Strong recommend!
I have been probably 50 times at Aunt Dai. I never get tired of coming back. My wife lives it, my kids love it. The food is just too good: fresh & tasty. Highly recommended to anyone searching for Chinese cuisine in town
Affordable price..very good food & quick service highly recommend.
Owner is very friendly & you can tell he loves & cares for his business. Had a great experience here. Highly recommend the General Tao Chicken.
Great food with great prices. Fast service too. Highly recommended.
Awesome restaurant. Honest price. I would recommend the broccoli beef & general tao.
One of the best Chinese meal we've had in Montreal! Food is super fresh & flavourful. Friendly staff as well, great place - highly recommend
The food is amazing here! Very authentic, tasty Chinese food with great portions. I've been twice & both times have been consistent, no matter what you order. The beef & broccoli has a light savoury flavour, & is not greasy at all with lots of crunchy fresh broccoli. The stir fried pork intestines come with onions, spicy green pepper, onions & carrots, & has a great spicy seasonings with numby peppercorns. The intestines are cooked & cleaned very well, no stinky flavours at all. The braised pork belly is always tender & flavourful, & the sweet potato noodles soak up the sauce very nicely. Each bowl of rice is only $1.50! All in all, very tasty & generous portions at affordable prices. Each dish ranges from $10-20 (even the seafood). Highly recommended, great for sharing dishes & family friendly environment.
Tasty Chinese dishes, nice staff, fast service, & very reasonable prices. We usually take a main dish, with a bowl of steamed rice, & then share a plate of sauté vegetable to share. & a bottle of saki to share. I recommend 2 side dishes toi absolutely try with your meal: dry-fried green beans, & eggplant dish.
I eat at Aunt Dai several times a year. The food & the service is top notch; I recommend going to eat at the restaurant in person, since they offer more dishes in house. The pricing & portions are reasonable, which is why I find myself coming back to this place repeatedly. My favourite dish is the fried fish in tomato sauce. It's always super light & crispy, & the sauce is a perfect mixture of sweet & savoury. If you like General Tao (which is also excellent at Aunt Dai), you'll love the fish with tomato sauce. A special shoutout to the owner & the team. They operate with a high degree of integrity & transparency; not only is this refreshing to see but is exemplified in the quality of their food. Hats off to Aunt Dai!
