Our beloved chef Germano Mustone has a wealth of knowledge in the culinary industry.
After quite some time as a New York pizza chef,
Germano was on a mission to give the West Island a taste of Italy with a touch of New York. He insists on fresh, cut to order ingredients, with specially imported authentic Italian sauce and lots of love! Germano and staff want to take the opportunity to thank the community for supporting our business.
Reviews describe Cugini's Pizza as a West Island staple known for authentic Italian flavors, fresh ingredients, and a warm, family friendly atmosphere. The dough, sauce, and toppings are praised for balance and quality, with standout pies like Grandma, Cup and Char, and Margherita noted for depth of flavor, along with the signature hot honey and truffle oil receiving special mentions. The staff and owner are consistently described as welcoming and attentive, helping create a memorable dining or takeout experience. A few comments point to higher prices, occasional long waits, or instances of slower service or a cold slice, but the consensus is that the overall experience is worth it and that Cugini's is a must visit for true pizza lovers.
I was really excited to try this pizza spot.
I got 2 slices & asked to warm them up because I like it extra hot which the girls working there said it just came out & that I dont need to warm it & completely dismissed my ask. They were just talking to each other & laughing at me. Then I said if they can just drizzle some spicy oil on it to which they charged me 2$ for the small container.
All the other places have a bottle of hot oil or spicy oil which is not a big deal to let customers add on their slices. Charging for it was a bit of a bummer.
Also as i sat to eat the slices were not even warm. For me it was pricey given the size of the slice & having to buy extra 2$ spicy oil.
The pizza was amazing! The arugula salad was also very tasty & fresh. It was a Saturday evening & it was packed! The service was excellent but be prepared to wait, these guys are busy!!! Totally worth it, will come back during lunch time to try individual slices for sure!

Amazing place, Amazing food THE best pizza in the west island.
The owner takes real care into his restaurant & you can see it in the food.
Try the garlic knots & any pizza you cant go wrong
( only thing i wanna point out is they put aluminum paper at the bottom of their to go box & the pizza is not always cut properly so some pieces of aluminum can get stuck at the bottom of the pizza if you use a knife. Probably would be best to not put any paper )
We popped by for a quick bite & to try them for the first time. We took 2 small pieces of their square pizzas. We are hooked!! We ended up buying lots of other stuff including a baguette, some honey, olive oil, pasta sauce....to bring home. The food was around $25 to$ 30 I think
The young lady who served us was super friendly, helpful. & kind.
We will definitely go back & likely often.
A great place for a snack or to fill up to the point of'so full you can't talk, much less move.' It's a small pizzeria with a homey atmosphere & excellent service. The girls are young, very sociable, beautiful, attentive, & friendly. The pizza really does look just like the photo & tastes great. I'm always happy to go there.

I genuinely don't know how to rate this place because the pizza itself is actually excellent - easily one of the better pies I've had in a while. Unfortunately, everything else feels like it's being run in complete chaos.
The staff seem disorganized & overwhelmed, like no one really knows what's going on or who's responsible for what. Service is slow, confusing, & honestly a bit frustrating. It gives the impression that there's no real structure behind the scenes.
What really pushed this into 1-star territory, though, was the experience with the owner. After we finished our meal (again, great pizza), we were clearly ready to leave after a long day but instead, we were kept there for nearly two hours while he talked at us. Not with us at us. It felt incredibly inconsiderate of our time & borderline uncomfortable.
Great pizza can only carry a place so far. When the overall experience feels this chaotic & exhausting, it's just not worth it.
Their pizza is some of the best I've had. However, it is VERY expensive, probably too expensive for pizza. & if you eat in the restaurant be prepared to wait a LONG time for your food as they prioritize their take out orders.
I didn't realize there was such a great restaurant right near the yoga studio on Saint Charles!
Amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly & the place was very clean. Even though we arrived close to closing time, they kindly let us stay & served us with great attitude until after 10. The food was delicious too.
Really enjoyed it - highly recommend!

I had a really disappointing experience at this pizza place. The pizza arrived cold, the crust was soggy, & the toppings tasted anything but fresh. For the price, I expected much better quality.
On top of that, the service was slow & unhelpful.
A small pizzeria with a homey, friendly atmosphere & good service. Yesterday, a young woman with delicate features was very kind & outgoing, which puzzled my companion, who apparently lacks these fine qualities. The pizza is very good quality; I'm always happy to stop by.
Germano & Jessica treated myself & my friends as if we knew each other forever. The food is spectacular, the care & dedication to the craft is second to none. The best spot for pizza, & its not even close. Get the Grandmothers square pizza for an out if this world experience

Don't order for delivery. It will come cold & inedible. They cool it way too early, driver waits for it because Arthur make them wait. Look at other delivery driver comments on this restaurant. $45 for a pizza?
