This is hands down my number one pastry shop in both Montreal & Toronto. My history with this place goes back many years it's actually where my love for pastries really started. The variety & quality you get here is on another level & honestly something I haven't found anywhere else.
The staff are always friendly & helpful. The shop does get very busy on weekends, & it's common to see a lineup for pastries, which honestly says a lot about how good they are. That said, the seating area & washrooms are quite small for the number of customers they get, so it's not the most comfortable place to hang out during peak times.
My go-to pastries are the classic croissant, almond croissant, & chocolate croissant, but I've tried many other items over the years & loved every single one. Everything is baked fresh, & with the volume of customers they have, pastries don't sit around for long.
Huge shoutout to the bakers seriously amazing work. & lucky are the people who live in this neighborhood & get to have this place so close by. One small note: the coffee is decent, but there's definitely room for improvement.
Overall, an absolute must-visit for pastry lovers. 🥐
They have amazing, fresh options of croissants & several other goodies & fresh bread! One downside: Mr/Ms Owner: PLEASE add the option of leaving a tip on your interact machines as your staff definitely deserves that- they are all lovely & have always been!
One of the best if not the best croissant in montreal. From plain to Nutella, Nutella to pistachio, raspberry you name it. They sell in regular size & mini. Always so fresh & flaky. Make sure to go early so you can try then warm & see the full selection as some run out throughout the morning. Highly recommended spot a must try for anyone in the NDG area or afar. I would even go as far & say' better then many Ive tried in Paris!!'
My sister, familiar with the area, suggested we try this place. Her recommendation was well-founded. The pastries we selected were of excellent quality & freshness. The staff was welcoming, & the pricing was reasonable. Parking was conveniently available. I strongly recommend a visit.
delicious, fresh baked good & awesome coffee, i wish there was more sizes available for the beverages but the affordable yet delicious pastries & sandwiches makes it worth it, it is always PACKED which says alot about their efficiency & quality (10/10) but i would not recommend dining in because it is a pretty small café.. fortunately right in front of many, nice parcs!
I bought the best strawberry cake I've ever had in my life! Their fruit tarts are absolutely amazing, & their danishes are the best I've tasted. Everything is fresh, delicious, & made with so much care. A true gem!
Their croissants are indeed really good. Buttery, big, flaky, & fresh! I also got a cinnamon roll here which was also so so good! Literally when you walk to the door you can smell the bakery. The location itself is simple, but the pastries are amazing. Highly highly recommend as they are up there with the best croissants in all of Montréal from Boulangerie de Froment & de Sève bakery.
