Tart au citron is very good.
The sandwiches are very flavourful & reasonably priced. Coffee very good as well.
Will reconsider it to anyone who appreciates good & simple.

These people know how to make croissant. You walk in & the smell of butter just hits you in the face, it's so amazing.
They do not cheap out on the butter. It's about butter. It's so buttery. It's so delicious. It's baked perfectly. Butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter, butter.
Highly recommend.
(It's true the coffee is just ok, but I don't go there for the coffee)
The croissants & baked goods are of high quality. It seems like a popular spot for coffee. I'm not into those things but I sometimes for bread which is very good. The wait times are long on the weekend. I find it frustrating to wait in a line up right to the door where people are picking out ingredients for their coffees & asking about muffins just stopping in for a simple item. I kind of wonder if they could have a short order line?
The verdict is probably good for coffee & desserts, but not for picking up household basics.
This is hands down my number one pastry shop in both Montreal & Toronto. My history with this place goes back many years it's actually where my love for pastries really started. The variety & quality you get here is on another level & honestly something I haven't found anywhere else.
The staff are always friendly & helpful. The shop does get very busy on weekends, & it's common to see a lineup for pastries, which honestly says a lot about how good they are. That said, the seating area & washrooms are quite small for the number of customers they get, so it's not the most comfortable place to hang out during peak times.
My go-to pastries are the classic croissant, almond croissant, & chocolate croissant, but I've tried many other items over the years & loved every single one. Everything is baked fresh, & with the volume of customers they have, pastries don't sit around for long.
Huge shoutout to the bakers seriously amazing work. & lucky are the people who live in this neighborhood & get to have this place so close by. One small note: the coffee is decent, but there's definitely room for improvement.
Overall, an absolute must-visit for pastry lovers. 🥐
To be honest, I feel the ratings might be a bit generous compared to the service & overall quality. This seems like a long-standing neighborhood bakery that many locals are attached to, which I can appreciate. However, with so many excellent bakeries around now, I felt this one didn't quite measure up. Even the coffee was underwhelming. I don't usually like to leave negative reviews, but I left feeling genuinely disappointed given my expectations.
delicious, fresh baked good & awesome coffee, i wish there was more sizes available for the beverages but the affordable yet delicious pastries & sandwiches makes it worth it, it is always PACKED which says alot about their efficiency & quality (10/10) but i would not recommend dining in because it is a pretty small café.. fortunately right in front of many, nice parcs!
