The only restaurant boats in Quebec that cook on board!

We went to see the fireworks on one of the AML cruises & we were not impressed.
Not enough seats for all of us, standing for almost 2 hours.
The diesel engines stink, are noisy, so noisy that the music played throughout the trip is more like an annoying background noise.
The music that was supposed to play during the fireworks was so low, compared to the engines, that it was impossible to make any sense of it.
& during the fireworks, the boat could not anchor, too much current I presume, so it constantly moved back & forth to stay in place. Creating more toxic fumes from those noisy diesel engines.
For $80 per person, I would expect more than what we got.

Ticketing system is very bad & not customer friendly at all. No matter what, you have to collect the physical ticket by showing the credit card that has been used to buy the tickets. Imagine someone gifted you the tickets & they live out of town. Such an inconvenience. They rented a ferry for the firework cruise. Most disappointing part is that the boat doesn't cross the bridge so you don't have a full view of the firework. The boat stays on the parc jean drapo side. Also, they didn't turn off the light on the downstair deck which was very annoying. The flag at the back also obstructed the view on the upper deck. These little things make a big difference. I still don't understand the point of collecting physical ticket in the year 2025.
J'adore les croisières AML. Très bon service & la nourriture est bonne. J'ai fais 2 fois souper 5 services & le brunch signature + Mtl/Trois Rivières. Je recommande.

Très belle expérience, à faire au moins une fois !
Embarquement à 18h après une petite coupe de mousseux en guise de bienvenue. Nous prenons l'entrée prioritaire. Il y a moins de monde que pour l'entrée classique, ainsi que 3 tables hautes dans la file qui permettent au moins à quelques personnes de s'assoir.
Nous arrivons à notre pont. Il s'agissait de l'étage le plus élevé en intérieur, très agréable car la baie vitrée se prolonge au plafond & permet donc d'avoir la plus jolie vue ! Les tables sont suffisammment espacées, mais nous sommes situés plutôt vers le milieu de l'allée.
Coup de chance, l'une des tables le long de la vitre était libre, nous avons donc pu'déménager' une fois le bateau parti à 19h. Normalement il faut prendre la formule la plus chère pour garantir une table contre la vitre !
Le service était impeccable & attentionné. Le menu était vraiment de très bon niveau pour du bistronomique : enchaînement de 3 petites entrées, filet mignon avec son homard (un délice !), puis dessert, café & digestif. 2 vins proposés au choix : français ou québécois.
Nous avions pris la formule tapis rouge, que je recommande car tout cela était inclus & sans supplément, pas de mauvaise surprise !
Le retour se fait de nuit, avec soirée dansante à l'extérieur, & très beau point de vue sur le pont Jacques Cartier & la grande roue illuminés. L'occasion de se balader entre les différents ponts & de se rendre compte de l'immensité du bateau !
Un seul petit point d'amélioration : sur google map il est indiqué que la billetterie ferme à 16h. Sur le courriel de confirmation de la réservation, il est indiqué de prendre le billet avant d'embarquer. Cela nous a valu un petit coup de stress de dernière minute, alors que la billetterie semblait toujours ouverte juste avant l'embarquement à 18h ! Nous avions ensuite 2h de libre devant nous. Suggestion : indiquer clairement l'heure maximale pour prendre le billet sur le courriel de confirmation.
Journée magnifique & spéciale le personnels très serviable & agréable leurs professionnalisme merci c'était mémorable j'ai vraiment aimée mon escapade à Québec & celui de montréal & les premiers feux d'artifices le son de la transmission radio n'était pas formidable mais pour le DJ & le repas 👏🏼
For $700 for two (including taxes) for the Signature Menu & fireworks, the experience felt like a complete letdown.
First, once we paid for the off-menu extras, the service seemed to stop-no more water refills?
Second, the fireworks experience was completely ruined by a crackling, broken speaker. Guests all around were clearly complaining, yet nothing was done to address the issue.

It's pricey for a basic 1.5 hour tour of Montreal. & once you pass the bridge, the only thing to see is loading docks. There is narration but it didn't reach every part of the ship & with all of the chatter, I couldn't really follow the narration. The ship itself is nice. People were friendly. It was a lovely day & the cruise was otherwise enjoyable.
