The boat is old, but the food is very underwhelming, it was ok for tourists but does not represent Montreal culinary standards (I took the morning brunch tour) but the historical explanation on the deck was nice & the service was great. I find it's expensive, but good to try once but I would not go back unless I was invited.

I did the 1.5hr tour on a nice afternoon last week, quite enjoyable. Nice air conditioned waiting room with toilets is available for the pre boarding time with an accessible bar. It would be good to hear when you buy your ticket (they don't tell you this) that if you sit on the top deck, you only hear soft ambient music for the trip while the tour guide operates on the front deck. The free wine was drinkable but not great (no surprise), our waiter didn't know which wine options were available but the guiding was good with interesting details of everything we saw. A nice way to view the city from a different perspective.

We bought Saturday brunch tickets at the Montreal port area around 9 am on the day of. The boarding started shortly after 10 am & the cruise departed around 11:30 am for 1.5 hours.

The ship has four (4) deck levels:
1. Deck A dining room is at the AFT, water level, with a 12 foot ceiling height & a dance floor area. It has air conditioning with windows all around.

2. Deck B has the bow area where guests can sit in the outdoor seating. There is also the back with an a la carte eatery where guests can purchase drinks, alcohol & food. The inside area has air conditioning.

3. Deck C is the level where the gangway is. The dining room is in aft. On the starboard & the port sides, there are floor-to-ceiling windows. The dining room has air conditioning.

4. Deck D is the highest level & offers outdoor unreserved seating.

We started eating our brunch around 10:30 am. There are various choices of main course available with unlimited coffee/ tea.
Our server, Amanda, was very efficient & friendly. Our meal was completed shortly before the cruise began.

The cruise slowly moved through the St Laurence river where we can see the old port, clock tower, La Rond (six flags amusement park), cargo port & the south shore. It is a relaxing way to enjoy a sunny summer day in Montreal.

Ticketing system is very bad & not customer friendly at all. No matter what, you have to collect the physical ticket by showing the credit card that has been used to buy the tickets. Imagine someone gifted you the tickets & they live out of town. Such an inconvenience. They rented a ferry for the firework cruise. Most disappointing part is that the boat doesn't cross the bridge so you don't have a full view of the firework. The boat stays on the parc jean drapo side. Also, they didn't turn off the light on the downstair deck which was very annoying. The flag at the back also obstructed the view on the upper deck. These little things make a big difference. I still don't understand the point of collecting physical ticket in the year 2025.

Finding the port was fairly easy. We checked in & a friendly young lady greeted us & lead us to a nice little waiting area with a very small bar but let's go cruising.

At the plank we were greeted by Alex who welcomed us abord.

We chose a window seat & felt like we were in a green house lol since it was floor to ceiling glass & the sun was smiling at us in full force.

Our server, Sofiane, had a great personality & totally made the experience! He got us our bloody Mary's toute de suite & we were ready to go.

The menu is a QR code access only. You have a choice of entrees but they automatically bring you a complimentary Mimosa that is very sweet & you cannot really taste the champagne, a selection of mini pastries to start, a basket of bread with your entree, & a little dessert of mini cream puffs.

We ordered the smoked salmon with beets appetizer & some bloody Mary's to go with it. The salmon was excellent & the BM's were decent. This was the best part of the meal!

We both got the Terroir omelette which consisted of ham, cheese & asparagus. It was served with sausage, bacon & potatoes. The omelette was a bit overcooked & dry & the entire dish was so-so.

We went to the upper deck to get some fresh air & take in the view. They had a girl on a mic sharing information as we went along but the tour itself was average & not very long.

It was a beautiful day but for the price & experience, we wish chosen something else to do.
