coffee(245) cafe(189) beautiful(91) building(66) bank(64) architecture(57) drink(49) latte(45) croissant(34)This review is for coworking. I am sure it is a good cafe. But I would not recommend this place if you're looking to work as a serious professional. First, it is quite loud - because it's really one big open building, like the old school banks. Second, you are not allowed to bring your own food & drink despite paying for the day pass. If you're a remote worker, this will be very bizarre to you. Forget grabbing lunch or ice cream at a nearby place & bringing it in. Third, as you can only eat their own food, you have to keep in mind that this place is mainly a popular cafe with some coworking thrown in. You will stand in line behind 20 tourists in order to buy food or drink. Note, there is no free water or tea like every coworking space on the planet provides. Lastly, it is too crowded outside the office area. You have to walk through the crowd in order to use the bathroom, get a drink, etc. I just don't see what the point is of the coworking facility.Voir plus
Pretty & unique place. Ample seating & good options. Got an iced matcha, was well made. The staff is very friendly.Voir plus
The best place for coffee or if you want study or have meeting .", they have small Cabins if you need more privacyVoir plus
The architecture is mind blowing & the cafe is huge! Their matcha latte was okay but the almond croissant was very filled & delicious!Voir plus
Unique interior & well recommended as a working placeVoir plus
Really cool architecture, & good location. Croissants were very good & drinks were good as well. Seemed a bit hyped up for what it was. It's a nice cafe in an interesting old bank but it lacks the charm of some smaller cafes. Overall a very good experience though.Voir plus
Good coffee & nice environment to work for a dayVoir plus
Beautiful heritage building Coffee & seating is overratedVoir plus
This place (once the tallest building in the British Empire) looks absolutely stunning, & the service by Lea at the reception is a 20/10. I mean white glove, outstanding service. Same with the baristas: amazing service. That being said 120$ for a semi-private place to work for 2 people, four coffees (the Dulce de leche one was delicious but too sweet, the americano was a letdown) & a pulled pork sandwich is too expensive. Especially when you can go to other coworking places a few streets away (of course, they're not as nice, but they are more comfortable) & spend less than half for a private room with coffee, tea, snacks, etc. à volonté. I can only recommend this to tourists, to take nice pictures, for people who want to cowork there once in a blue moon, if you want to treat yourself, if you are an influencer, or if your company pays for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this as a coworking space, simply because it's too expensive.Voir plus
Lieu incroyablement beau, il tient bien sa réputation. Cadre agréable même si beaucoup de bruit. Café & thé + gâteaux super bon & service très gentil.Voir plus
Great matcha latte with almond milk | stunning architectureVoir plus
Endroit vraiment sympa pour prendre un café dans un décor dingne de l'univers d'harry Potter.Voir plus
The place is beautiful, but: 1. There was 15 meters line at 9:05 (it opens at 9) I decided not to get food cuz it looked very average 2. Big part of it is co-working space you can't access without reservation 3. The atmosphere was ruined by pop music that just doesn't align with the place & the city (in my opinion) Definitely worth visiting to see the architecture but it'd be nice if they made more room for the cafe & less for co-workingVoir plus
This cafe was extremely aesthetically pleasing & makes a great spot for photos. However, was super busy even on a week day, extremely hard to even find a spot to sit. I don't think their wraps are worth the price but we really enjoyed our caramel macchiato & iced chai latte. Their staff was quite friendly & helpful!Voir plus
Montreal bagel with smoked salmon, capers, marinated red onion, dill & cream cheese. Light & tasty, not salty! 😋Voir plus
Definitely a cool experience. I was not a fan of Their espresso but it was definitely cool. The lines were long but the service was pretty quick.
I was so disappointed!! For years I have heard people raving about this place but it's really not up to the hype. As an architecture student, I was very excited to see the interior & I will say that it's worth to go inside just to take a look. However, it seems like it's mostly a place for people to take a break from the heat in the summer rather than have a coffee. The place was absolutely full, there was no place to sit but no one was even drinking anything. It seemed more like they were loitering. It was also very silent, the atmosphere would have been so much better with some light music. The coffee was very expensive. For one maple iced latte with almond milk, it cost me 10$before tip. The size was very close to a size grande at Starbucks. It was definitely not worth that price. Would go back in to see the architecture but won't buy anything next time!Voir plus
