Stunning space in a former bank - the architecture & ambiance are absolutely worth a visit. Great spot for photos & working or relaxing. Coffee was just okay, but the vibe makes up for it. A must-see café for the atmosphere alone.Voir plus

Tasty espresso-based drinks & friendly service. The staff are very attentive with orders & friendly. This is a great spot for meetings over coffee & working with friends, co-workers or classmates - there's ample space & a beautiful, grand interior layout. The architecture is beautiful to look at, & while the space fills up quickly, it's close to the business district & a popular spot. Worth trying when you're in the area!Voir plus

J'aime beaucoup le concept & lieu est extraordinaire. Une vieille banque qui vaut le coup d'oeil niveau architecture.
Pour ce qui est du service, nourriture tout y est très bien. Mais rien qui me fait dire waw pour avoir 5 étoiles.

Croissant was okay, pain au raisin is decent, espresso pulls were subpar. That said, the atmosphere, the ambiance, the service, & the vibes were incredible. I wasn't there to read or work but almost felt like I should go & grab a book to come back & read. The ceilings are incredibly high because this used to be a massive bank, & I'm so glad they've maintained the architecture & the grandness of it all. There are rooms you can book to cowork out of, otherwise you can pull up in the very big comfy couches or the tables all around. Highly recommend for the vibes!Voir plus

It's great a place to visit for architecture, but café is super full, barely have a place to sit down (a Saturday at noon for example), you have to pay extra to use the booths, pastries are quite on the expensive side, 8$ for a financier. Staff are helpful tho.Voir plus

This café is a wonderful spot to relax & eat! The architecture is unique & has a profound sense of history, while the old decor has been repurposed into pleasant sitting areas. The food options were large for both beverages & meals, & they tasted wonderful. I appreciated that proper tableware was given for dine-in, rather than everything being one-use. I highly recommend this café for those local to Montreal, as well as folks visiting the city. ❤️Voir plus

The building the cafe is located in is absolutely STUNNING! But the cafe itself, not the greatest. The food & coffee was bland & burnt, with no flavor, & the servers have nasty & rude attitudes. The only good thing about this place is the architecture of the building, otherwise it's overhyped & overpriced.Voir plus

The place is beautiful, but: 1. There was 15 meters line at 9:05 (it opens at 9) I decided not to get food cuz it looked very average 2. Big part of it is co-working space you can't access without reservation 3. The atmosphere was ruined by pop music that just doesn't align with the place & the city (in my opinion) Definitely worth visiting to see the architecture but it'd be nice if they made more room for the cafe & less for co-workingVoir plus

I was so disappointed!! For years I have heard people raving about this place but it's really not up to the hype. As an architecture student, I was very excited to see the interior & I will say that it's worth to go inside just to take a look. However, it seems like it's mostly a place for people to take a break from the heat in the summer rather than have a coffee. The place was absolutely full, there was no place to sit but no one was even drinking anything. It seemed more like they were loitering. It was also very silent, the atmosphere would have been so much better with some light music. The coffee was very expensive. For one maple iced latte with almond milk, it cost me 10$before tip. The size was very close to a size grande at Starbucks. It was definitely not worth that price. Would go back in to see the architecture but won't buy anything next time!Voir plus

Worth visiting! Extremely busy but I was here for work & we booked a booth for 2 days that cost $100 a day & could easily seat 4 people. Fantastic coffee & the architecture is beautiful! It used to be an old RBC branch that they converted into a cafe!Voir plus
