Crèmerie SWIRL earns praise for its creamy coconut-based soft serve and weekly rotating flavors that keep things fresh for vegan and non-dairy eaters, with many noting high-quality, indulgent textures and a sense of novelty as new flavors appear each week. The small seasonal menu and walk-up service help lines move quickly, though a few reviews describe the selection as limited and the prices as steep for the portion size. Flavors span hojicha chocolate, black sesame, genmaicha, passionfruit vanilla and other tropical or dessert-inspired blends, with some weeks delivering standout combinations while others feel more ordinary. Opinions vary between top-tier recommendations and criticisms of value, but the place is often described as friendly, fast, and a welcome addition to Montreal's vegan ice cream scene. The setting in a pleasant area near a park invites strolls, and the rotating flavors encourage repeat visits to try the latest creations, with many returning weekly while others feel the offerings don't always justify the cost. Overall, Crèmerie SWIRL appears to be a popular, rotating flavor destination that many customers rate highly, even as some reviews flag price or variety as drawbacks.
Best ice cream spot in the city! Tried the pumpkin spice & it was delicious. Staff was super friendly. Didn't have my wallet with me, so I'm glad they also had ApplePay available!
This is literally my favorite ice cream in the entire city! The flavors are always so delicious & you can tell are made with quality organic ingredients. The owner is always so incredibly nice & welcoming. This is a must try!
One of the best ice cream spots in the city! i love that it's dairy free & it's truly spectacular, it never disappoints. Plus the staff is so kind & friendly A+++!
Delicious ice cream & the staff were amazingly nice! My boyfriend & I were staying nearby & noticed this place always had a line. We knew we had to try it! We split a chocolate vanilla swirl. We saw people showing up with rewards cards & thought it seemed like some sort of ice cream cult with how many people seemed to be obsessed with it. We thought it tasted a bit creamier than the chocolate vailla swirls we have back home, but then later on learned it was vegan with a coconut milk base! That's why it tasted so different! I took a lactaid pill not even knowing, but really appreciated that it was dairy free. If you're nearby, it's worth the stop!
