Best fries chicken & sauce, so of course best chicken poutine. Chocolate cake isn't as good as it used to be. Decor was updated recently, nothing major just updated colors.
Côte St-Luc BBQ has been a go-to spot for me for years. There's something about the place that brings back a real sense of nostalgia. The smell of charcoal-cooked chicken, the classic coleslaw, & those familiar fries with the perfect crisp always take me back. It reminds me of a time when takeout felt like a treat, not just a convenience.
I've had the chicken, the sauce, & the fries more times than I can count & they've never disappointed. It's comfort food at its best. I also love the poutine. Always fresh, flavourful, & consistent. The service is friendly & welcoming, & takeout is fast & easy. The fact that they deliver across the West Island makes it even more convenient.
If you're from the area or even just passing through, this is the kind of place that feels like home.
Comment dire, pour le repas, c'est très moyen, poutine avec sauce sans vraiment de saveur. C'est vraiment pas fin.
Sandwich chaud, c'est du poulet entre deux tranches de pain de mie avec du poulet & la sauce poutine pas bonne… sur le pain…

Par contre service parfait, très gentils, très rapide.
Great chicken, sauce & wings! Their coleslaw is the best, with a slight garlic taste to it. Too bad they are closed on Mondays. They were open for a few weeks on Mondays but closed again.

The food was amazing. I ordered the quarter chicken leg with the fries well done. The sauce was nice & hot & they bring you the coleslaw I had of time which is a very big portion. I definitely recommend trying.
"THE" classic BBQ chicken plus establishment that NEVER fails to deliver the historic anticipated palate pleasing meals. Service is top notch, & platings are generous. The sauce...yes...delicious & always just right. Fries are what we crave as the accompaniment to their chicken & ribs. Coleslaw legendary too! In these days when restaurants come & go & TRY to produce something in this genre of cuisine...bravo to the team at Cote St Luc BBQ...from the management, wait staff, bussers & of course the kitchen team that predictable produce THE best BBQ choices! Our absolutely must chose when the taste buds want THAT treat! Cheers T&S Y
They changed. Their chicken isn't as smokey, the sauce doesn't taste the same anymore & I can't say I'm impressed with their coleslaw (had a very bleachy taste to it). On top of it all, the chicken itself is a lot smaller & it's overly expensive. The only thing still good is the soup in my opinion, even though that's changed as well & even then, that's not worth the $7 price tag.

Was thoroughly disappointed in everything but the service. Overpriced & under-whelming. Ordered the 1/2 chicken, baked potatoes & salad. The white meat was too dry... & the potato (even though it was piping hot) was quite under cooked. When the butter melted it ran all over my plate, because the potato was too hard to absorb any. The sauce for the chicken was kinda bland, like a weak St. Huberts. Next time I will drive the extra few minutes & return to SCORES!
I absolutely love this place. They slow cook the chicken using charcoal & are one of the rare restaurants that actually make their own fries. I personally love the wild rice & my friend showed me a little trick today...poor half the secret sauce (that was brought down from the heavens by Zeus himself) directly into the rice. The owners & staff are so authentic & friendly. If you have never been to Cote St Luc BBQ, grab life by the horns & get down there. This is a piece of Montreal heritage, go be a good Quebecer & give your support.
Everything was good, including the price is decent, chicken is better than anywhere except chalet bbq, still charcoal, only issue was the sauce which was really bad, it tasted like chicken leftovers with nothing else.. they could do better, intact the stuff used to be way better, please fix this!
