The chicken sandwich I had was good, but I found it too saucy. Like the delicious, fresh, healthy ingredients can stand on their own. For me, the salty extra sauces detracted from the experience.
Just my two cents. Maybe I'm just too used to the more traditional sandwiches sold by Vietnamese grandmas in Asian grocery stores.

They are good people & they make good sandwiches, but they don't respect their posted opening hours. It's been twice that I headed to the store at 11:15AM & the store was shut closed. No one in the store, no note or notice posted on the door neither. If I had known that they were not going to open at 11:00AM on these days, I would have saved my precious lunch time & gone eat somewhere else.
First of all, it was the name of the restaurant that caught our eye & attracted us to try the Banh Mi...come on now, how clever is that name?
We finally had the chance to give this place a go & we are very happy that we did. Lily, the owner, greeted me as soon as I walked in & she was so friendly. We had a great conversation as she prepared our very delicious Stand, Grilled Chicken & Shredded Chicken Banh Mi's. We also had the grilled chicken soup which was yummy....a little salty for my pallet, but then again, I never eat salt.
The sandwich is huge! It is filled with the choice if meat & wonderfully tasty vegetables. We opted not to have the pate.
The fact that this place is close to home means that we will definitely be back to try some of the other wonderfully tempting items on the menu. If you are in Ville Saint-Laurent, you need to stop by & Stand Banh Mi! See what I just did there ;).

Nice little place. Some basic Korean grocery/snack items & good Ban Mi sandwichs with a few Korean drinks. The basic Stand sandwich was good with fresh ingredients. I will go back when I have a chance. Tho make it a little spicyer.
They have one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches & soups in Montreal , so tasty & delicious.
The owners Nick & Liliane are super nice friendly people , providing good service & care about all their customers .
If you have time , go try it out & you won't regret !

This is my second time ordering their sandwich banh mi. Why? Cause is really delicious & very affordable price especially if you a student or tight budget. Their banh mi is 8$ but they have discount for student so it worth it. Better than subway & cheaper. It a cute little store. They also have vietnamese dishes & vietnamese drink. They changed owner but their banh mi is next level. I order 2 banh mi & it took me like 8min.
